Nate's preferred starting line up is a joke.

DO NOT MAKE THE EXCUSE THAT ALDRIDGE ISN'T PLAYING EITHER.

Absolute joke.

Agreed, and it shouldn't matter who isn't playing (Greg is out, right?) because that's who Nate wants to play.

You basically have 3 positions that are offensive naughts, and with LMA out, you basically are a 1 offensive player starting.

Even if the team is healthy, you are limiting your offensive threats to 2 players in the starting lineup. Chemistry is good, but how many times did this team get off to slow-starts last year?

I'm glad these injuries for a lot of our players are not serious.

So we're missing Oden, Aldridge, Batum, Fernandez, and who else? Oh yeah, Roy since he got his new contract. Juan Dixon just got cut, can we get him?

Webster with a block on the defensive end, and gets an and-1 on the other end. Yeah!!!

Right thigh contusion for Batum. MIXUM you're on in 5...4...3...2...1 and the franchise is doomed.

Batum's thigh, Aldridge's shin, Oden's "abductor" (he's been kidnapped?), Rudy's back, Bayless' ankle...the Frail Blazers are cursed! CURSED I SAY!!
:ohno::ohno::ohno::ohno::ohno::ohno::ohno::ohno:

Why does it sound like the Jazz are just dribbling down the court and scoring with no resistance?

Because Wheels is a talented commentator who can paint incredibly accurate pictures in the minds of his listeners.

Outlaw has scored 10, half our points. Suddenly, we are not a deep team with all these injuries.

I think its because our transition defense is bad, and teams know it. It's a weakness that the team didn't seem to address this off-season (or training camp) or just doesn't seem to think they need to do it.

For having a defensive minded coach, there are times when this team looks like they have no idea how to play defense. Their defense is the key between the team potentially winning 55-58 games and making it to the 2nd or 3rd round, and 45-52 games and being out in 5 games.

7 turnovers in the first quarter for the Blazers. At this pace, we'll end up with an atrocious 28 turnovers.

"Kirilenko drives down the lane, Travis moves out of the way and Kirilenko banks it in!"

"Boozer right of the lane, Collins clears a path for Boozer and he scores."

"Maynor at the top of the key, Miller drops down and lets him shoot a three and he hits it."

Isn't that about average for us this PS? :dunno:

Bayless drives to the rim and scores. Nice spark off the bench.

Maynor hates us or something? He killed us last time and now he has 6 points, 2 reb, 2 assists and 0 turnovers in 5 minutes.

Oooh, DC in early. C'mon rook--show me sumthin'!!

I think he preaches and preaches but I'm not sure anyone is tuning in. It might take a second and different voice to tell them the same thing before they do get it.

I cant wait for the regular season to start. This preseason speculation and guessing games are driving me crazy.

At least we are shooting FTs well. 9/10 so far.

4 team fouls in this 2nd quarter for the Blazers and there's over 8 minutes left. Yikes.

2 blocks and 1 steal by Webster so far. Looks like he is putting a lot of effort on the defensive end.

We are shooting 30% and allowing the Jazz to shoot 60%. That is a recipe for disaster.

Roy is back in finally. Let's see if he can cut into this 14 point lead.

Wow, I didn't realize how crappy we are without Aldridge, Oden, and Rudy.

Sounds like the refs are jobbing us. Nate is gonna murder one of the refs.
