<div class="quote_poster">Quoting custodianrules2:</div><div class="quote_post">Wow... simply wow. How much more damage can Isiah do?
Actually, Isiah has the right mindset to build a little more balance in his team, especially on the defensive end and in passing the ball, but I think it's too little, too late to introduce these elements when the owner told him he's got one year to seek improvement. Dolan probably shouldn't have suggested this was Isiah's last year or else and expected him to draft for the future. Isiah just might not be around to even care if Marcus Williams turns out to be a badass Knick. Bad on Dolan's part for opening his mouth.
The other thing is can any of these guys bring immediate impact to the game? What about shooting? Some of these guys like Bruce Bowen or whoever can still shoot if needed to. We don't know what the rookies are like in a real nba game or if Jared Jeffries can be consistent enough at shooting. Otherwise passing will definitely be an issue if guys play the passing lanes and basically force these guys to shoot or to put the ball on the floor. Like all good defenders, the team still needs to play team and help defense. I don't know if the other four guys will get up and help each other out. I don't get this feeling from Marbury, Crawford, Qrich, Rose, Curry, or any of these guys. Maybe the rookies, but definitely not the vets.</div>
Thanks for swinging by, custodian. Anyway, I couldn't agree more. Isiah just seems to be making desperation moves to save himself instead of the organization. He must be stopped.
