John Henson wants out of Milwaukee

Good rim protector. Would be an ideal backup. I've been team Henson2pdx for awhile. Don't know what his value is or what Milwaukee would want, but I also don't know about giving up a first and Aminu. Don't think his value is that high.

He'd be a good backup center. I think Portland would rather develop Collins/Swanigan though. They wouldn't want to take on 3 years and 30 mil unless they were dumping equal or more salary. Don't think the Bucks would want Leonard.

He wants out and we SHOULD want him! Reasonable contract. Upgrade of player.

Henson makes $11.5M this year and less the following 2 seasons after.
Give them Leonard and Aminu and a 2018 FRP.
Are you willing to include Harkless? They don't want our crap and no one wants Meyers.

$12M a year for Henson is a bad contract to be honest. I would not want to give up good assets for him, Aminu and first round pick are good assets.

IMO, Henson is a similar caliber player to Ed Davis prior to last year. If you think Davis won't rebound, then Henson would be a superior back up. If Davis does bounce back to where he was before last season, I wouldn't see it as an upgrade. I'd swap the two players but considering Davis is coming off an awful year and Henson isn't, Milwaukee wouldn't be too interested in that, I'd assume.

Harkless is worth more than Henson. Aminu does fit the type of athlete Milwaukee likes but honestly, even Aminu is worth more than Henson.

Maybe Davis and a pick

Let's get back to trading Leonard for Henson....keep Aminu...Leonard and Connaughton.....Connaughton reminds me of Delledova ...they'd be good teammates

Bucks trying to dump salary so trading for players that comes the same. If they do it they properly players with one year contract.

If Henson declared he wants traded, I think a Meyers swap would be fair. Might need to throw in a second rounder and or cash. Good trade for everyone involved, especially Meyers.

All of them. Why stop at 3 or 4?

Because the ESPN Trade Machine only goes up to 4 teams. That's plenty. That's 27,405 possible combinations of 4 teams out of 30 and if we assume each team has 15 players, that's 2.1E+184 possible trade combinations.

Get busy boys! Your ridiculous trade proposals aren't going to post themselves!

John Henson is basically the same size as Zach Collins. (Maybe an inch longer) I would much rather develop Zach as he can at least shoot from the outside. Yes I would give them Leonard as they can always use more outside shooting on the Bucks team, but I would not give them anything more.

The BGD computer has scanned your post, and will reply about developing players shortly.

Henson is the classic case of a guy who is a good shot blocker, but a bad defender. His net production and on court/off court stats are terrible, much worse than his teammate Greg Monroe, who isn't exactly known for his defense.

This. I am not willing to give up significant assets for him at all, and Meyers would be a decent offer as Bucks are going to still need shooting and he is a little cheaper than Henson. I would be cool with that and giving Henson 15-18 minutes a game. He is not worth a bigger package, there is a chance Bucks consider him a bad contract every bit as much as we consider Leonard one.

Swanigan could get the job done without burning a pile of money

You can never have too many big men with length to throw into the rotation. I'd take Henson over Ed Davis.

Hasn't Henson Been hurt every year he been in the league.

Damn, didn't see that. It's a forum not as article.
Yeah and it's a fan opinion, and we know what that's worth ;)

Still, maybe he was and is soft IDK. I'd like to know what his defense and rebounding are like

Well, there's that. Normally I'd just say "asset acquisition", but if he's disgruntled there, we don't need him to be disgruntled here.

Considering it appears the Blazers are trying to move Meyers, possibly by mutual agreement, I hope Olshey is looking for a way to make this a threeway.
