Ok. I actually thought you were using the Gooden reference more for an example of statistical averages...I don't think Boone has to date shown himself to be anything but consistent so I don't know if I can agree with you on that reference.

Ok first off anyone that wants to attack my IQ You go right ahead and do it. I know what my GPA is and it is quite high i also know what scholarships i have gotten and what college's want me.

As far as the Boone conments so what I know what Boone is going to be and that is a double double guy like David Lee but he could be better.

Anyone that wants to attack Josh and put him down right now needs to PM me I can give you the good names for head doctors that can help.

I also think the attacks on Josh are cause i know him well and you people are just jelious of that.

Its just theres fans and then there is you. You almost come across as his kid cousin or something... I have favourite players too but I dont go to the same lengths you do to show my love for them.

Maybe you should take it down a notch, because on topics non-Boone related you have some pretty good things to say, just tone down the Boone-lurve...

I know I am. I wish a knew a guy who averages 2 points a 2 boards a game. Also, he is possibly the best Nets big man ever. He is so versatile down low. It's like if Tim Duncan and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar ran in to each other like in the Axe commercial and formed this great player known as Josh Boone.

Dude, I know what you mean. My Dad sits next to JB's uncle at the games, and these guys on the board just can't forgive me for it. It's like they attack Josh to attack me, you know? I don't understand their vendetta - us perceptive people can see that he's just a late-blooming Tim Duncan, if the coach would just give him a chance.

I'm sure you knew that though, with your high IQ and GPA, though. I bet you knocked those SATs out of the park too - the board is probably really jelious of your analogy skills also. I don't know what scholarships you've gotten, or what college's want you, but I'm sure they're all suitably impressive as a way of legitimizing your arguments and talking points about professional sports.

Maybe no one has come right out and said it but if you read posts about 10 times like i do you can get a feel for what is being said.

over the past few games as a starter he is avging 12/8.

He is starting and the team's play has gotten better.

Now if he is unskilled and that is going on just think what happens when he becomes so called Skilled.

Straight off the bat... Mr Boone fan, you are making a fool out of yourself... KC made a very acurate point that if you had an IQ higher than 25, you would realise... Rebounding isnt exactly a skill per se... Jumpshooting, ball handling and shot blocking are. Kurt Rambis was not a "skillful" player but he was very effective because he simply wanted the rebound more than the guy he competing with.

Second of all that Jason Collins circa 2002 call is not that far off the mark. This was pre-vince however so a lot of you younger guys were still rocking out to the hamster dance, so the idea of an active Jason Collins may seem like chinese algebra to you... whatever. I am as anti collins as the next guy but he was very active and played with a similar amount of hustle as Boone with the same questionable handle.

Thirdly is it too early to proclaim Josh Boone a better player than Antoine Wright? Does he have a brighter future ahead? Im on the fence on that one but Josh does seem to be improving when it comes to reading the game. His awareness is 75% better than last year and he seems to be playing with a little more 'oomph' than last year too.

Man Id love Josh to be a good player... but I can only see his ceiling as 'Drew Gooden'... not sure if thats good or bad...

Buddy Christ! He's the man.

Boone is a much better man on man defender than Williams (who is a better help defender) so it makes more sense for Boone to start next to Krstic once he is completely healthy again.

OMG you know Josh Boone??? I AM SO JEALOUS!! HE is so HOT and incredibly talented!!!! he has really stepped up for the nets, and will continue to make a huge impact on their season

i think you mean "christ", and yes i am serious! (and a girl i hope you know) it is a big deal!! i have watched him since he played at UCONN, and yeah its really cool, i live in dallas and when the nets came last year i paid over $300 for my ticket to sit as close as i could to him and you are friends with him, and actually he is better than bush!

Thats cool to hear that he has fans out there all around the country and not just here in the Northeast. It is semi cool to know a pro sports player, but trust me it's just like a regular friend or atleast it is with Josh. If you want to chat more about Josh please PM me i can proabbly tell you a little more about JBizzy.

And let me speak for Josh when i would say thanks for the support down there in Dallas, i know Josh would be proud to have such great fans like you.

Yesterday Boone started hitting mid-range jumpers and went 4/6 from FT line. Get Kiki off the FO and to the bench with the other coaches.

One day a story hits that he is helping Boone with his jumper and the next game Boone starts hitting those types of shots and nailing his free throws.
