But one that may a) develop into a better player and a better fit, and/or b) will play at 1/3 the price. So we can get a player who’s not as good as Hart.

Oh, so THAT'S why we traded himHe is a great dude and the kinda guy every winning team would want on their roster. Don’t have to draw a play up for him, yet he still helps your team succeed.
No...thee money for Grant took the money for Hart off the table...they choose Grant...one of them would have walked for a payday and we needed the PF more than the undersized SF who was hesitant to shoot. Actually Hart will hit the market this offseason and if they could...I'm sure Portland would bring him back and I'm sure he'd love it. He looks happy with Brunson in NY. I wish him well.Oh, so THAT'S why we traded him

You're acting like Grant was the PF when it was clearly Hart.No...thee money for Grant took the money for Hart off the table...they choose Grant...one of them would have walked for a payday and we needed the PF more than the undersized SF who was hesitant to shoot. No....I'm acting like one guy is 6'8 and the other is 6'5...sure Josh is the rebounder....Grant is a bucketYou're acting like Grant was the PF when it was clearly Hart.
Insult the post, not the poster.Your posting is greatly appreciated and I agree with a lot of the stuff you say, but I don't think most people want a forum where it's OK to call each other names.
Or trade for a player who is better like we did for Grant. So we can get a player who’s not as good as Hart.
He's coming off the bench in New yorkGood for Hart. Hope he gets to stay in one place and not only play his Josh Hart things role but bring everything he can … like catch and shoot. For next season his cost will be outside of what Portland can do given other choices … Nas, Sharpe, Thybulle … and other needs.
Your use of periods is fascinating.Josh Hart is +46 through first 3 games with Knicks
just f.y.i.

I see it a lot when Josh Hart goes to new teams. They get off to fast start and then come back down to earth.

and he averaged 20 ppg as a Blazer in the 13.
His first 3 games as a Blazer he was + 42.
But his next 5 as a Blazer he was -116, including a -51.
Was that last year's tank Blazers? When Brandon Williams was supposedly the next Lillard?
I'll take "things no one said for 800, Alex"
Good lord. That's an $800 question?
Hart is not stuck playing post, and is not multitasked with checking Ant's guy every possession. Josh has more energy to focus on shots. Can someone explain to me how Hart missing open 3's in Portland or making them in New York, has anything to do with coaching?
Playing post? This isn't JV basketball.Hart is not stuck playing post, and is not multitasked with checking Ant's guy every possession. Josh has more energy to focus on shots.

Pff. No thanks.I'd prefer CJ and Nance back
