Jrue Holiday trade ideas

I like the options that bring back a young small forward and a couple picks.

PWill and two picks?
Kuminga and two picks?
Herb and a pick?

If we do Boston or even Golden State, we might be able to flip Brogdon or Paul for a pick... maybe? I don't really like Boston. Their picks are going to be garbage, even five or six years out.

Herb Jones , 33% 3-point shooter. So I say No to him.

PWill is a fantastic 3-point shooter and Kuminga is good, shot 37% last season.

Kuminga has one more year (team option) on his rookie contract, while PWill is on the last year.

I wonder what kind of value Chris Paul has.

If we could get Kuminga and a couple picks, Paul could maybe bring SOMETHING back.

Can Jrue get us a big-body PF and an unrestricted 1st and perhaps a couple 2nds? I don’t want a salary dumped on us, so how can we get this done?

30 million when he is 38 and 39? I am guessing what he will bring back is a bad contract.
Does GS have an abundance of picks in order to give us 2?

Looks tough to avoid it. Jrue does make 37 million. The only way I can see is to get 3-4 players back and keep trying to flip them. But not all of these guys will be flippable.....certainly not for a first.

GS controls all their picks from 2026 on, so they could (in theory) deal 2026, 2028, 2030.

The Warriors wanted to get rid of Poole so that has to factor in. So IMO his value is less than that.
Ya GS is one of the few teams who could have used Paul. Market for him most likely limited.

I dont see it, hes cooked. Maybe a 2nd rounder if another team has an injury.

Or a protected 1st if another team gets out of a bad contract. But then Paul's value is purely as an expiring contract.

I'm just wondering if a team like Boston would find him valuable since they have SUCH bad ball handling issues.

Think Boston is way in the tax next year so getting out of Brogdon deal makes sense. Probably why their not likely for Jrue.

Lets say Brogdon recovers and we flip him for a 1st later. Think of the total Dame trade haul of picks;

1 MIL
2 GS
1 BOS
1 more

So a total of 5 FRP and 2 unprotected swaps plus Ayton and Kuminga?

Fuck you Miami with that bullshit lowball offer LMAO

Exactly.

Don’t think Celtics give up a 1st for CP3, otherwise a deal would’ve been done imo. Kuminga + Celtics filler + a 1st from Boston and GS is a great haul considering the Celtics filler like Brogdon could land another asset when he’s healthy.

Holiday cannot be traded to a team aggregated with other players from his team because 2 months have not passed since he was traded for. He can only be traded away to a team by himself and other non-player assets from his team (draft picks, cash considerations, etc). This restriction expires after Nov 26, 2023.

What is the chance Holiday is traded over the weekend? How often do trades even happen on the weekend?
