I didn't know which thread to put this in so I'll start a new one.

How do we get this guy in a Blazers uniform?

They need him now that Nance broke his finger trying to get a moustache ride from Biggie

We took Caleb one pick before Kuzma. Getting outdrafted by Magic is killer.

I really like Randle, but his contract situation and fit with Terry are drawbacks. He can't shoot so he won't play.

Swanigan will be a nice player. A lot better than some of the other guys drafted in his range. Kuzma looks like the better player sure but I wouldn't say we missed either. If there's one thing I trust about Olshey, it's his drafting.

Nice to see Collins get some burn in the first half and Biggie in the second. Caleb just makes plays, kinda like Kyle they're both surprisingly NBA ready on offense.

I would love to have Kuzma at SF for us. Again it shows you that you don't need to be in the lottery to find good players. Can't really blame Neil too much, the guy never showed this type of skill at Utah. He was good (1st team pac 12) but rarely took over games. Maybe it was their system otherwise he would have been drafted higher.

The player I like from the Lakers is Hart he was solid on defense tonight he just solid player. He don't the minutes like the other two rookies but when he in there he makes smart plays.

I agree that we also had a good draft but the Lakers had a great draft. Scouting is one of the most important things and kudos for them

Lonzo is for real, gotta stay objective
Yeah, he scored 0 points tonight, for real.

33.3mpg, 9.1ppg, 6.8reb, 6.6ast
32.6 FG%, 27.8 3pt%, 55.6 FT%, 39.3 TS%

That's trash. What about him makes your think he's going to be good other than the shit you've heard from other people?

It's funny that these same dudes hate on Lillard after a loss or a sub-par game. But check his numbers against Lonzo's splits. I know that Lonzo will get better with time, but the lack of perspective is hilarious. They pretend like they just like to keep it real and are just realistic and non-biased. After Lonzo eating dick against Dame, "Lakers are better at drafting. Lonzo will be real good. Olshey fucked up". After a blazers loss when Dame doesn't have his best game, but is still infinitely more effective than Lonzo, "Trade him. He's trash. Chucks with the best of them with no court vision".

True fans. Totally unbiased.

I said before that Lonzo was another Rubio but I'm not sure he'll even be that good now.

Jason Kidd my ass.

I saw him in tapes since before the draft. He's for real

Ball has to have players to set good screens for him. He not quick enough to go Iso on someone to be effective. The one time he slight got pass Dame he got his shot block by Harkless. Bottom line he was basically a no show against the Blazers.

He is a great passer. He will be OK with scorers around him. He needs to develop a reliable shot. Until then he is MCW

I'm not up on the current lingo.... how does on go about Jason Kidding your ass?

I'm still taking Caleb. Sorry. I like Kuzma, but (small sample size) he isn't tough, and doesn't rebound, nor try on Defense.

Answer this honestly; you would rather have Swanigan on our team than Kuzma?

To your points, Kuzma is averaging nearly 5 rebounds a game and was a good rebounder in college. Don't agree that he doesn't rebound. He's better at it than Harkless. As for defense, he's a rookie, and I don't see anything about his profile that suggests a long term issue.

For me, it's easy. Kuzma would immediately be a starter. Swanigan is most likely going to be a backup while he's in Portland. Don't see him ahead of Collins long term. I like him, he'll be a good role player, but come on. We need a Kuzma a lot more than we need a Swanigan.

A) I don't think Kuzma would start over Mo or Aminu for Coach Stotts right now.
B) I don't think Ball's shooting touch is why he was drafted.
C) When Kidd was Lonzo's age he was getting ready for the NCAA tournament his freshman year.
D) The L*kers were a Dame 3 away from being 4-4 right now. Who had that in their preseason predictions?

I said before that Lonzo was another Rubio but I'm not sure he'll even be that good now.

Jason Kidd my ass.

Jason Kidd was an EXCELLENT defender and was also quick as SHIT. Rubio plays D as well.

Lonzo can't do that.

Funny how comparisons are usually only on the offensive side. Not defensive.

I answered it honestly already. Did you think I was lying when I said I'd take Biggie? :dunno:
