Are you really still in doubt about whether Portland is going to make the playoffs? Phoenix is 7 games behind Portland with 17 to go. Even catching Dallas will be nearly impossible for Phoenix. Even if Portland went sub-.500 (8-9), Phoenix would need to go 15-2. Nothing in the way either team is playing suggests either side of that is remotely likely, let alone both sides.

Sorry, MIXUM...Portland is in. You'll have to despair silently during the playoffs and off-season.
 
I look forward to a new poster named "MUXIM" posting about the botched draft KP put together. :)

Are moves made in the offseason included in the "not bitching" promise or do you justify since those moves are for the next year then you can bitch? I highly doubt you would not bitch until game 1 of the 09-10 season

At what time is it considered "next season"?

After the Blazers are out of the playoffs? After the draft? Preseason's commencement? Beginning of the regular season?

i don't expect to the suns to catch us, but we could easily finish 8-9 the way we've been playing. we haven't had a quality road win for months.

You've been saying that for a month or two and the team has not really had a major down stretch over a 17 game period. ;)

And they don't need a "quality road win" to do better than 8-9. I think they only play 4 teams with a winning record on the road the rest of the way.
 
CLE has one, ONE, uno real quality road win this year..beating SA

Their next two good road wins are against POR and Utah...
 
Maybe I'm wrong, but I remember the promise being "I will not post if we make the playoffs." Someone has it quoted in their sig.

we've been frequently having to come from behind to beat losing teams at home, and we're 5-11 in our last 16 road games and about to play 5 in 7 days. we may in fact end up doing better, but there's nothing in the way we've been playing that indicates 8-9 (or worse) is only a remote possibility. on the contrary going something like 3-7 on the road, 5-2 at home would be pretty close to par for us lately :cheers:

I heard he cheered for the Blazers when they were terrible and will again once they are again.
