Some people acted like we had no chance just because we lose or are losing a game and, especially in game threads, say terrible things about our coach and players and say things about the game/season being over. It gets really annoying. And those people have every right to say those things if they really want to be so negative, but they should be able to accept eating some crow after they're wrong.

Agreed. A lot of posters in here quit in a middle of a game/series and start trashing the team. LUCKILY- the team itself does NOT quit. If team doesn’t quit, why are fans? NateBishop tore into the players while the series was STILL GOING ON. Kjironman kept saying “this is not the time for such talk” and he was right.

Neil has put together an average team that has no real shot at winning a championship. We can't even beat a young Nuggets team that is in the playoffs for the first time. This is not a very good team.

I said this after we went down 3-2 in the series. Obviously I was wrong and we ended up beating Denver. Im still not convinced we are on the same level as golden state, but I guess we will see. The team needs to show that they can beat a powerhouse. So far they have beaten a shitty OKC and a very talented but young and inexperienced nuggets team. I hope we can beat Golden State. I would be thrilled. We have to win without Durant in the lineup or we are screwed.

You're exaggerating. We have a different definition of "very good" and "average." There are 30 teams in the NBA and we're one of the 7 teams remaining and we are only two wins away from the WCF. That's not "average." Average is the Detroit Pistons and the Sacramento Kings. The Nuggets were great all year long. We have as good a chance of winning the championship as any of the 7 teams left in my opinion. Let's see if the Warriors win tonight even. As kjironman said, this really isn't the right time for posts like this. We are in the MIDDLE of a WCSF series right now. Many analysts have us winning the series in 7 games.

So if we're "very good," what the holy hell is Golden State? Excellent? Amazing? Legendary?

no need to judge anybody, we have ignore buttons that will clear it right up..game threads used to be filled with humor and comradery, last couple years they're filled with stupid rants, negative affirmations and bitching contests...not for me..I post more post game or halftime these days...I enjoy Brian Wheeler's approach to a game. He's plenty emotional but in a good way.

How about we just start our own "Positive Posters" game thread? I'm tired of the negative posters too. Especially the jackasses that only show up when we're down. This has been an awesome year, and whatever the outcome; I'm happy and looking forward to next year....

Our schedule was easy because all the easy teams we were going to play aren’t in Orlando. It’s pretty simple. We already finished our series with “easy” bubble teams like SA, Sac, and Wash. Not fair to extend those series to 5 or 6 games. Every team we are playing was on our remaining schedule. It’s our games against Atlanta, Cleve, and Detroit that were canceled.

How many current coaches can claim that? He coached a game 7 win on the road in one of the toughest cities to win in. He’s won 50+ in 2 of his seasons. 3 seed twice in tough Western Conference. One of the most successful coaches in the NBA. Easy.

He has yet to WIN a conference Finals game in his ENTIRE career. An cherry picking one season over an entire coaching resume' doesn't seem overly cognizant of the big picture.
