Wow. PapaG. Although abrasive, you've always been someone who was at least worthy of reading.

True colors are really coming out tonight. You can bash me for calling Chip a 'whore' and I actually get why that would make some people upset. But, it's how I feel right now. All I care about are the kids and our program and I feel Chip is doing the program wrong.

You on the other are just here to mock, call names and flame - it's apparent to everyone. I think you've lost a lot of respect here on the Duck board tonight. Maybe take a break and try again tomorrow. This isn't working for you.

Would you consider his posts "work-friendly and family-friendly"

I have been monitoring it and when needed I've been eliminating the personal attacks by redirecting them towards myself.

Toughen up? I'm a former veteran of wartime - having received service medals for wartime - and a former cop. You think I'm being weak? I just support and agree with rules and being respectful. I've probably not been respectful at times tonight and I can admit that. But, your language and name calling needs to cease. Take issue with my post, my opinion, but don't call me an f* idiot.

I didn't think it was allowed at any level.

Trash talk is allowed. It's one thing to call Portland's NBA team the "Jailblazers" and another to call their fans idiots. The former is allowed, the latter is not.

If Sportstwo isn't going to enforce their own rules, why even have them? NB, how many times have you and I went 12 rounds - yet, we still respect each other and come back to agree/disagree/discuss. Same with Tlong - he's one of my favorite posters, lol. All of us disagree and go at it from time to time.

But, PapaG is the only one here who not only calls people f*idiots, and makes insulting personal attacks instead of attacking a post - and he's allowed to. Really devalues the board. No wonder former players, people like FishDuck, donors - who post and are part of the Scout family will never come here....because people like PapaG are allowed to do their thing.

I believe you and I appreciate it. Wouldn't it be easier to just request the insults cease instead? It's creative and sometimes funny to see you put your name in there (and I know you have probably done that on a few of my posts from time to time) but there has to be some kind of limit and line crossed. Right?

I'm harmless, and my name is Greg *&^*&%. I am married and have two daughters, ages 5 and 7. That's an easy enough name to look up on Google.

I have nothing to hide. My daughter's tests and aches and pains have humbled me, and I am absolutely livid about barfo's mocking of the situation. I guess a douchebag like that guy just doesn't care about anyting, tough.

Anyhow, it did set me off, once and for all, which may be a good thing. I'll be civil, but then again, I've never insulted anybody's kids, not matter what BenDavis503 twisted into "logic" in his fucked up mind. I'll defend my kids until the day I day. While I am experienced enough to know and participate in the "Dozens" games on this board and others, I didn't ever think that I would have to explain to someone who runs a board why I am upset over an obvious and calculated insult, not at me, but at my daugther.

Anyhow, I just vented, and I apologize for my part of our slams over the years. I do think you're a good writer, and I was just being the asshole that I am.
