It really does just keep getting better, doesn't it?

I just can't interpret this to mean anything other than keeping Roy happy. Right on the heels of reports that Roy supposedly demanded that Miller be traded. Coincidence?
Does this mean we're moving Joel for a point guard?
That would be a fantastic move for the Blazers. Andre Miller was supposed to be a stop-gap measure. This season is likely lost anyway. You get a quality, young big for an aging PG that will take you nowhere, you make the trade of Camby or Joel much easier to stomach, and you find out if Roy really has anything left with more spacing or not, and if not - you just play the young guys at PG, try to make Batum that point-forward you hope he will be one day - and get a high-pick for the future.
In my best Starsky and Hutch voice I would go with "Do it", "Do it".
Eh, I wouldn't dislike it, but it leaves a big problem at PG, with no guarantee of a high draft pick. Perhaps then trade Przy for a PG on sombody's bench? I just don't like the idea of Patty Mills and Armon Johnson being your PGs at the end of the season.
If Bayless was still around, then I'd be more excited to get a soon-to-be 27 year-old center who has seen his PER regress since his first two years to its current 14.1.
ed.... bail on season?
this season has gone from 2nd round to top 5 pick with roy being out/done.
you think theres hope of playoffs? without roy???
I have no idea if this rumor has any truth to it, but if it does then I'd be willing to bet that Cho has another deal lined up to bring in a PG.
Miller/Przy for Gortat/Nelson works in the trade machine. I really like Miller, but I'd do that.
Orlando gets screwed up on value here. Will have to add at least a pick to this, imho.
I can't see Orlando doing that, though. Maybe, who knows. I think Camby instead of Joel would have them think much harder about it. We'd need to take on one other contract from them, though.
This deal alone would make the Blazers atrocious this year. Our already pathetic offense would become even more laughable without Miller.
If there is another trade lined up to get us a younger scorer, this trade might make some sense.
Being atrocious for the rest of this year might not be that bad...
The worst thing that could happen to the Blazers is that they are stuck at the low-playoffs seed/high lottery seed area for 2 more years...
I'd do Miller/Camby/first round pick for Gortat/Nelson. To sort of fuse your thoughts together. I think that would at least be in the ballpark.

I think anyone would....except the Magic.
Jameer is kind of the heart and soul of that team imo. I think Chris Duhon is just so bad the Magic are looking for a backup PG.
Magic made the finals without Jameer. Played crappier when he played.
That's because he hadn't played in 4 months.
