Again. I have talked to both. They are not "very different reasons" at all. I'm not sure why you are commenting on this? Fact is some pretty low handed crap went down. If it continues i will leave also. Not that it would matter to many if any at all here. You absolutely have to let the forum stay on the forum. We are all friends here. Even when we disagree. The next time i get a chance to see anyone here i will smile and shake their hand. However, If that shit continues in any way it won't be just me that leaves.

HCP's departure was due to someone bringing his job into the equation. Riverman's departure had to do with stuff that happened directly in the forum. I know because it involved me.

For years at the old Olive site, Sly would occasionally come in on a "recruiting trip" telling us just how different and mature S2 is..(and you can cuss!!!)
After 10 years on the old forum, and 2 years here, I can assure you....
There is zero difference.

There used to be. Then Sly successfully recruited O-Live to S2. The rest is history.

Not gonna argue about this but exactly how many "Successfully Recruited" O-Live posters are now posting here. I know i came over well before their site shut down and yes i was intrigued by Sly and his site. I do know of about 4 others that are here now. At least those who use the same name just as i do. When the site went down in 2018 a few came over but this place was already doing what it is doing and many of the issues were with posters that were never a part of O-live. Seems like blaming a very few posters that came over 2-3 years ago is an easy way out.

I was at O-live for a couple years before their shutdown and then came here.

Man, you got me reminiscing about them O Live days. Besides Lanny, HJ, TBF, KJ & me who else is in here from O Live days?
wonder what happened to Uncle Wiffy, bendy, blazem?
Sly was always very respectful sharing about this site.
I was surprise at how many F bombs were being thrown around and even racist accusation but I know that since Im retired i'm not as exposed to that stuff and these are certainly different time.

i posted from a variety of different monikers (forgetting passwords and shit) about 12 years ago on OLive.

Wiffy posts on Blazersedge under a different name. Krang or something like that.

I saw Bendy post one of his stupid trade proposals on there too a couple months ago.

Blazem was still posting on that makeshift "forum" on O-Live until they disabled all comments.
