I was surprise at how many F bombs were being thrown around and even racist accusation but I know that since Im retired i'm not as exposed to that stuff and these are certainly different time.

its natural for one to defend themselves against false accusations. Not sure what people around here expect as an alternative to being lied about.

Hope someone has the balls and honesty to post the real truths around here one day...

I leave for about a month at a time, but it's only because of my energy level. I'm not the scintillating effervescent personality I was on ESPN, where I was known for presenting stats from novel sites to disprove people.

I love The HCP almost as much as I love Mrs HCP. He's funny, doesn't take any shit and is in the unique position no one else is in......he has access to the Blazers no one else has. People should be grateful he posts here, but instead they whine like little bitches because he calls it like he sees it, and doesn't always wear blinders regarding the team.

Again. I have talked to both. They are not "very different reasons" at all. I'm not sure why you are commenting on this? Fact is some pretty low handed crap went down. If it continues i will leave also. Not that it would matter to many if any at all here. You absolutely have to let the forum stay on the forum. We are all friends here. Even when we disagree. The next time i get a chance to see anyone here i will smile and shake their hand. However, If that shit continues in any way it won't be just me that leaves.

After 10 years on the old forum, and 2 years here, I can assure you....
There is zero difference.

But i don't buy his excuse for leaving one bit.

He took his overall discontent for the evolution of the site aNd spearheaded me based off of one morning of mocking someone else for doing the very thing everyone here was complaining about. It was an innocent joke that morning aNd he blew his top. Him and i had had some good convos prior to that.
His complaint about me was my complaint about hcp.
Stick to basketball.
I was the first guy to not take hcps shit and he couldn't handle it when i told him to back off. He decided to follow me from thread to thread for a year or so trying to mock me and get me ruffled and spark conflicts.
I fully admit my responses could have been better, but if he would have just been chill to me even once, i might have got a different vibe from him.
Now because i was the first, (many people not happy with his behavior have since come out of the closet) I'm widely accused of taking it outside the forum to go after his job. There is nothing, other than our bickering, that ties anything to me, yet he went public and accused me of such actions, which is completely false.
It completely sucks that someone took this place outside of the forum, but i swear to God and my family i had nothing to do with it and i have no idea who did do it.
Im pretty sure bnm thinks this was me. Hcp does, as well as a few others around here including some mods even though there is No proof( cant be because i didn't do anything).

I have personally, virtually stopped posting for several reasons.
1. Being wrongfully accused of going after hcps job.
2. The continual separation of a quality debate vs people calling each other names over politics by some posters.
3. The continual hypocrisy of some here who just can let some things go and argue or point out every single little thing until they drive people nuts.
4. My life has become busier than ever, and as much as i love some of you and talking basketball and joking around, I have my priorities in place.

maybe one day someone will figure out who the hell did whatever to hcp regarding his job, so i can personally be in the clear and he can have real knowledge of who his enemies actually are. Until then though, people should really refrain from finger pointing because odds are, you are wrong.
Im gonna try to make a point to not respond anymore to this ongoing drama. Ive explained myself many times over the years.
Time to get back to basketball, the reason i came here to begin with and got sucked into the hcp game aNd lost.
