If you hate the party system and don't want political division, then why do you constantly focus on the difference in traits and complain about one side because you dont like a specific trait (i.e. they're loud)? Do you not see how that contradicts what you state you want?

No it doesn't. Bones, most of the racist accusations and whatever else it might be the new outrage comes from the left. If the right were doing this on this forum I would call that out too. I follow a lot of people on twitter. NBA people, MMA people, a wide range. A lot think left. I also follow conservative types. When I see conservatives all of a sudden like Kanye because he said he likes a certain aspect of trump, I cringe because I know these are the same idiots calling Kanye an asshole for the longest time. When I see certain gun control ideas debated and the right likes to bring up the constitution, it's more cringe. The right has some stupid ass ideas. So does the left. But they both have things I like too. We live in Oregon. Major blue state. The left is way more loud here, a lot of SJW nonsense and what not. There are a lot of Trump hating posts on here. Not a lot of democrat hating posts. This forum is geared towards the left and generally the people I have issues with are from the left so I call out that specific trait of the left I hate. If it was somebody on the right arguing a position from the right I dislike, it would be the same thing but that hasn't really happened. The closest I can think of is my last encounter with Mar and it was lame. He gave me shit for saying negative things about my Grandpa, my Grandpa being an old marine vet. He was an alcoholic, abused my dad, etc. Been a shitty grandparent to me. Mar proceeded to basically tell me I should call him up and apologize for being an asshole. Well, unfortunately this is the stubborn old conservative veteran way of thinking. Vets can do no wrong to conservatives. So I went back and forth with him. So I hold no bias, it's just that more democrats appear on this forum and tend to lash at me and call me shit

you missed the Obama or Hillary bashing for years before Trump? Fact is there's always bashing of presidents....always...and the sooner the conversation stops being left or right the sooner people will stop talking like politics are rivals who hate each other....the elected officials are supposed to work for us.....fact...they have worked for their own parties power bases for many decades....situation, problem, process, solution....we've been mired in the problem for way too long. Rather than complain about the status quo in DC it's more productive to engage in the process of change...Trump campaigned by insult....governs by insult and when a leader does this....he's not going to make a lot of friends. He brought this on himself. My process is to stop voting for Democrats or Republicans period...at some point, we need to change the dynamic.

You aren't grasping what I'm trying to say at all
Someone who hated the party system and didn't want to create division would say "We need to have respect for anyone's beliefs even if they differ from ours", not "The left is demonizing Kanye for supporting Trump and they're always outraged. If the right did the same I wouldn't support that either." You refer might refer to the left and right more than anyone yet you wish the left and right didn't exist. You complain about traits you don't like but dont want division. Complaining about a group of people creates division, no matter who it is.

I can't disagree with what you are saying. I understand this. I was here but I don't think I really got into the OT section for a while. I honestly didn't know it existed years into my account here.

I am not trying to generalize and say all of the left. There is a certain group of people that tend to be always outraged though and they identify with the left. I am not gonna respect beliefs when these specific people want to outright call me racist or that I am defending racists without evidence. Why would you respect that persons beliefs. I respect the rest of the lefts beliefs.
 
Is there a thread about Kanye saying Bush hates black people here? I'd really be surprised if I didn't say "so what???"

You don't explicitly describe what "militant" Facebook posts your friend makes. Could be about reparations or just fuck white boy. You don't clarify so I get to imagine what you mean.

So you've got two things and one of them is completely true about Dviss. I don't agree with it but it is true that other posters have called him a racist in this forum.

Outrage as Kanye West sells 'rip-off' $55 'Brunchella' breakfast plate

Local organizers at a church service where Kanye West appeared are coming under harsh criticism online for long lines and pathetic food offerings prior to the event, sparking comparisons to the notorious failed Fyre Festival.

West performed at the outdoor service on Friday night at Bethany Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, drawing a crowd of thousands for the program of Christian preaching and songs from his new album, Jesus Is King.

Though the church service was free, local organizers charged $55 for a 'Brunchella' breakfast plate before the service as a church fundraiser, and at least one woman demanded her money back, posting a photo of her sad-looking Styrofoam breakfast plate to Facebook.

A source close to the event says that West was not paid for his performance, and even covered his own travel expenses to attend and spread the Gospel. A spokesperson for West declined to comment to DailyMail.com.

Kimberly Kinchen demanded a refund of her $55, posting to Facebook this picture of her sad-looking $55 plate from a church fundraiser before West performed on Friday in Baton Rouge

The pathetic 'VIP area' and huge lines also added to the frustrations of paid attendees

Although West did not receive proceeds from the church fundraiser, organizers marketed the 'Brunchella' as part of a 'Kanye West Sunday Service'

Nevertheless, a social media post quickly went viral complaining about the food sold by local organizers prior to the event.

'Can y'all cover a story on this because I want my coins back,' wrote Kimberly Kinchen in a post directed at a local news station.

'This is the wonderful & COLD brunch BUFFET we are being served,' said said, adding, 'the server looked at me crazy when I asked for another pancake.'

In a statement provided to DailyMail.com, the caterers who worked the event said: 'Lauryn’s Fine Catering has been contacted about the poor service and quality of food provided during the event as a paid vendor.

'The catering company acknowledges it did not provide adequate food for ONE attendee and a social media post went viral. Any further inquiries or food complaints associated with the event can be directed to Lauryn’s Fine Catering,' the statement continued.

Others were quick to speak up online, posting photos of a pathetic looking VIP area marked by a lawn sign on a grassy knoll.

'Like they really had us hanging out on a hill away from the stage, promised we'd be ushered in later, only to hit us with 'nope',' one person wrote on Twitter.

As crowds packed the area for the event, huge lines formed, with thousands jostling to get closer to the stage.

In frustration, some attendees even climbed trees to peer over the heads of the masses.

Frustrations mounted as West was late arriving at the event, leaving the crowd of thousands waiting listlessly after sunset

Tensions boiled over as the same four-song playlist played on repeat as people waited

West was all smiles when he arrived at the event with his children. Many people who attended said they came to hear his testimony for Jesus Christ

Tensions rose at the event as West's performance was delayed by hours after the scheduled start time of 6pm.

'It's now 730 and STILL, no Kanye. Same playlist still on repeat. Slowly losing sanity,' one person wrote on Twitter.

The complaints inevitably sparked comparisons to Fyre Festival, a fraudulent 'luxury music festival' in 2017 that was the subject of multiple documentaries.

However, not everyone was disappointed in Friday's event, as those who opted out of the brunch were able to attend for free.

Many of those in attendance said they wanted to hear West's testimony for Jesus Christ. The songs on his new album chronicle West's journey through Christianity.

Kanye West believes his success is attributed to his turning to God.
