Sure. Also... Boston and philly can blow any offer for cousins out of the water. (More Boston).Boston and Philadelphia can easily blow any deal for Kawhi out of the water. I think that Boston have already put themselves out of this race though, Ainge thought he could have got another bargain like with Kyrie but it has become clear that it’s not going to happen.
more? keep the thread healthy and on track with these posts...pot, kettle, black....You railroaded this whole thread with your bullshit.
Phoenix is a good guess. I think it could also be Denver.

Boston and philly could blow any offer for paul george out of the water.
Etc.
Which effects LeBron too, because I don’t think LeBron wants to play with Lonzo and deal with his father making headlines about him and his team.Shams just tweeted that Lonzo has a torn meniscus. Will be out til the training camp.
Guessing that's gonna affect a potential kawhi deal
Okobo is better than both.Phoenix could offer Josh Jackson, TJ Warren and the Bucks pick. That’s a good offer I guess. I think Jackson should easily be worth more than anybody Lakers will put in their offer and TJ is a good rotation player. Maybe even Bender who I think would be a valuable piece for Pop.
Kawhi, Booker and Ayton could be competitive this year but they’d need to really do well in free agency with the acquisition of fringe and rotation players. Their situation at point guard is bad, currently they will be starting either Knight or Ulis there, neither is remotely enough. They would still have some trade assets - Marquese Chriss, their picks etc.
Okobo is better than both.
If I’m Paul Allen, I’m telling Olshey to offer anything San Antonio wants for Kawhi outside of Dame. I’d risk him being a one year rental.
Well thank goodness you’re not Paul Allen. There is no reason for thinking he’s going to re-sign here when everything he’s said indicates he wants to go to LA.
Could’ve said literally the same thing about George last year.

He had no intention of bolting for LA until Tony Parker and Greg Pop started roasting him in the media, in private, and public. The relationship is destroyed.
From everything I’ve seen, Dame is a great leader, vocal, and would fill the gaps that Kawhi lacks. Kawhi doesn’t want to be vocal leader... Dame does.
People also enjoy being around Dame and our team chemistry, off the court, is second to none. Thanks to Dame.
I’m willing to roll the dice on Dame being able to persuade Kawhi to stay long term after playing with him, being around him, and hopefully seeing our team culture. Plus, LA is a short flight from Portland.
I’d gladly take that risk to get the BEST player in the NBA, even if it means I lose CJ McCollum - undersized scoring machines are easily replaceable, Kawhi Leonard is not. Spurs wouldn’t have put up with this bullshit for a year if he was.
Gotta take risks to get off the treadmill. I would say thank god you’re not PA, too short sighted to build a winner, just like Neil.
I'd take that chance.Kawhi loves LA so much he lives in San Diego. I’m telling yaaa, if he came to Portland he would stay.
According to this:
http://amicohoops.net/sixers-celts-make-top-players-off-limits-in-kawhi-deals/
the Celtics and the Sixers aren't willing to give up any good players (or even Markelle Fultz) for Leonard.
Everyone thought PG13 to LA was a sure thing as well.....
I would take the gamble.
BeforeDid he make his decision before our after LeBron chose the fakers?
This post feels contradictory to me. If his quad reportedly suffered atrophy and lost flexibility while healing, and Pop wanted him to play through it even though it wasn't quite right, how is that deserving of being characterized as refusing to play but accepting a paycheck?I don't like seeing a player refuse to play but accept a paycheck...then demand a trade to only 1 franchise...give me Jimmy Butler instead. I read that Kawhi's quad suffered atrophy...basically lost flexibility while healing and isn't quite right...yet Pops wanted him to play through it..
Here's your posts contradiction.....Spurs docs vs Kawhi's docs...and you nor I have enough inside medical info....he has also said if he wasn't traded to LA he'd sit out another season...you're welcome to cheer for him though....and post your own take on the situation. If the Spurs deemed him healthy enough to play..and he didn't trust them and followed a second opion I think he should forfeit some pay for taking a leave of absence and not following team protocol..you may find Pops or Parker to be the bad guys here but I lean towards Kawhi just pouting and using this as leverage. Strapping the team to one choice for a trade and saying you want out is last straw material if I'm Pop....Pop would gladly trade him to the eastEither his leg was healthy enough for him to play, or it wasn't.
