Kevin Pritchard
- he's likely to miss the season. And it's tough. He's going to bounce back from this. We're going to be a stronger team from this.
- G.O. asked KP to check his blackberry for the score of the game.
- G.O. was real down.
- When they found out, some emotions came out of Greg. But he kept asking what the score of the game was.

Sigh. Thanks for posting.

- Non-impact injury. He didn't get hit. Same knee that got knocked with Golden State last season.
- Any time you lose a player of Greg's stature, you're not going to be as good. We built this team to withstand injuries.
- It's going to be challenging for Greg to go through another year of rehab but they believe he'll fight back as hard as possible.

- They felt it was a punch to the gut.
- KP felt it, and the energy of the building was down. Nobody was thinking about the game at all until the Blazers rallied during the game.
- Everyone cares for everybody, including G.O., Travis, Batum, Rudy, Jeff and Patty.
- "Life isn't fair."

I missed this part:

"It's maybe time to look at that"

what was he talking about?

I thought it may have been a question as to whether you can rely on Greg long term as the building block with Roy and LA.

God I wish I could see the press conference. Is it on Comcast? F-U Comcast.

Hey- look at Grant Hill. How many times did he go down? And now he's still a starter on a very good team. Oden will just have to push through all this. He's still very young.

Two weeks ago I said I was this close to being done with blazer basketball. Well, I think I'm ready to be done with it.

How effin convenient for Brandon Roy, Nate McMillan and Kevin Pritchard. Back to good ol isolation basketball. Just the way Brandon Roy likes it. No more broken brain cells for Nate McMillan trying to put together a game plan that works for everyone. No more hot under the collar moments for KP. He has an out. They all have an out now.

Yep, life just got easier for all three of them.

And I think I'm done.

Ironically, this is a convenient time for you to be "done."

I think a lot of people just want to cry for Greg, and very little for ourselves as Trailblazer fans.

This is where I'm at. Wins and losses seem kind of unimportant right now, I'm far more worried about the mental state of the players and GO in particular. Just a real kick to the nuts for him and for all of his teammates. All of the petty arguments about touches and minutes and player x over player y just feels so stupid right now.

Tough, tough day for GO.

I feel so sorry for GO I can't even tell you. Not that he isn't a millionaire, just that my god how can this poor guy get hit like this again. Why couldn't this have been Kobe Bryant or LeBron. There is no justice in this world, I'm just sick of it. To assfuck billionaires more money, to everyone else, the shaft.

Call me selfish, but I feel pretty bad for all Trail Blazer fans. We invest a lot of emotion (and money) into our beloved franchise, and continue to get kicked in the nuts year after year. Ugh.

This.

The people that stayed loyal through the dark times deserved better.

Let's face it guys, there has been a major shit storm of negative karma around the team since mid-summer. Much of it can be traced back to Pritchard's rapid fall from grace... The next move is obvious, IMO.

It is?

Pritchard gone = breath of fresh air. His response to everything going south has been to sit back and do nothing... The Let it Bake mantra ain't working.
