KP will address the media

Let's face it guys, there has been a major shit storm of negative karma around the team since mid-summer. Much of it can be traced back to Pritchard's rapid fall from grace... The next move is obvious, IMO.

What, firing KP?

Pritchard gone = breath of fresh air. His response to everything going south has been to sit back and do nothing... The Let it Bake mantra ain't working.

Tune into sanity FM.

Yes. Change things from the top down. Pritchard isn't humble enough to make the necessary changes.

Firing KP, firing Nate is not going to get our guys healthy.

This is where I'm at. Wins and losses seem kind of unimportant right now, I'm far more worried about the mental state of the players and GO in particular. Just a real kick to the nuts for him and for all of his teammates. All of the petty arguments about touches and minutes and player x over player y just feels so stupid right now.

Tough, tough day for GO.

this is a very true statement.

Firing KP wont do anything other than slow up the process. I'm sure a new GM would like to stick with the guys he has to get a good feel for them.

KP now has to do actual work instead of sitting in a cozy office watching video tape of Euro games and Blazer games. Oh, darn.

+1

I recorded the game because I went to a concert and when we were at dinner after the concert he was like "Oden is Out" I was like dont mess with me like that..... got home about 2am and started the game.... when it happened I didnt even care about the game anymore... I felt sooo bad for him.... Ive been reading comments and its hard to believe how selfish some people are... like he plans out his injury's or something, its sick.... I will always be a Oden fan and pulling for him, its a broken bone it will heal... :dunno:

But it would potentially replace him with someone who will assemble a roster built around toughness and durability (i.e. defensive minded players) instead of a bunch of injury prone, finesse jump shooters. Oden isn't exactly the latter, but he certainly isn't the former, either.

The medical staff needs to go first, of course.

Today KP said it's fair to say we can taper expectations but still expects to make the playoffs.

Really?

The primary backup PF is Cunningham

The primary backup C is Howard

The primary backup SF is usually a guard playing out of position.

Watch KP do nothing with this roster and ride this one out because he's very tight with the guys. Awesome.

Two weeks ago I said I was this close to being done with blazer basketball. Well, I think I'm ready to be done with it.

How effin convenient for Brandon Roy, Nate McMillan and Kevin Pritchard. Back to good ol isolation basketball. Just the way Brandon Roy likes it. No more broken brain cells for Nate McMillan trying to put together a game plan that works for everyone. No more hot under the collar moments for KP. He has an out. They all have an out now.

Yep, life just got easier for all three of them.

And I think I'm done.

bye, please never come back

I'd think that the primary backup C is Aldridge. Unless they're in foul trouble, I'd expect to either Joel or LMA manning the C spot.

It's Pritchard's fault that Greg got hurt?
