QUOTE

The Nets have until next Wednesday to make a decision on whether to offer Nenad Krstic a long term contract or risk having him a restricted free agent at season’s end. The complication, of course, is his the stability of his knee after ACL surgery. So far, Krstic looks fine, but both sides say there is no rush. However, if the Nets decided to extend the 24 year old seven-footer, his new deal could start at $7 million.

Philly rewind and contract stuff

I think it'd be good to resign him. If he tests free agency my guess is we'd have to resign him at over 7mill

It's a no-brainer. The Nets are checking into his injury, but other than that, I'm fully confident that they will re-sign him. Krstic wants to play in NJ, so there shouldn't be much of a problem.

I hope it's no higher than 7 Mil. He's mainly a good shooter, and although he's made strides with his rebounding, but still, he needs to make some strides in his overall defense.

Around 7 sounds right. Hopefully he doesn't pull a Boozer. lol

If he stays healthy I reckon he won't get less than 9 mil a year. Kaman signed a 60 million dollar deal, and I think the two are comparable.
