What is up with the thought police. I get it that people are frustrated and you may not be, or may not like their ideas while frustrated. Just saying SHUT UP and GET OUT to every idea you don't like seems a little odd considering your on a forum to discuss basketball. HC is a really good poster most of the time, and has good basketball takes but the idea that people posting things you don't like is just a fair weather fan, that they should shut up seems a little out of whack.
I get the forum has been on a roller coaster ride (same as the team), but if someone's here actually talking about the Blazers bringing up their ideas why should they just shut up?
I haven't seen a single person say the Blazer WILL tank, or WILL make a trade, or WILL fire Stotts, or WILL fire Neil, I just see fans bringing up ideas that they think might make the team better. Why is that a problem? Why is it met with this well that won't happen so shut up and quit talking about it. A lot of the fun of sports for many people is talking about their silly ideas to make it better. If you think it's a bad idea, why not just say well I think it's a bad idea and here's why. Or if it's so bad it's giving you a migraine you could just not respond.
Heck I mentioned in another thread I wouldn't know how I'd feel about them tanking, I wasn't proposing they do it. I was met with a it won't happen so people shouldn't talk about it response. I don't really get why people on a discussion forum for the Blazers can't discuss their ideas related to the Blazers without being met by oh you're all just in a meltdown cause they lost, your just a fair weather fan.
Also I apologize to HC because this isn't just about him, I've seen it from various posters in about 4-5 other threads, most of them not responses to me. After the Warriors game I took a bit of a break because I was frustrated and didn't want to just type nonsense, which I'm prone to do while frustrated.
