He can play through a ligament tear on his left thumb no?

I think Larry Sanders was out with a ligament tear in his thumb for six weeks, Nick Young about the same.

I think it's just a bad bruise. It didn't look like it got twisted or anything that would cause a tear.

Hopefully it's just a strained ligament with some soft tissue swelling, but you can't really tell from the replay. If it bent back far enough that could cause a ligament tear, or perhaps he dislocated/displaced the thumb. We'll just need to be patient and wait for the official diagnosis.

Hopefully this won't hurt his trade value.

Maybe they should make Nico stay home, too. He could be LA's ice bag boy...

Place your bets now--who starts at PF: Leonard, Robinson, or Wright?

Seems like Stotts usually wants a stretch 4 alongside Kaman, I'll guess Claver or Leonard.

I would go with Claver. I think he plays best with starters since he does not have to shoot to be effective.
Also because I think TRob and Meyers mesh well.

Man, did Chip Kelly take over running the Blazers? No injury updates other than to say it ain't broken and he's not playing tomorrow. Anybody have a link to a good Korean hacker? They probably know what the deal is.

I would expect Stotts to play the guy who fits into his established offense. And that ain't Robinson. Unless he gives Kaman the LaMarcus role and Robinson the Lopez role. Which might not be a bad idea. Then Meyers could be the designated shooter off the bench, along with CJ.

But I'd rather see Meyers start in the LaMarcus role, then change things up with the Cardiac Kids (and old man Blake) off the bench.

I read on Casey's site, lma is visiting a doctor this afternoon, so we should hear more tonight.

I'm hearing that this situation is very similar to Oden, during the examination they discovered one thumb is half an inch longer then the other one.

This explains his tendency to go left and have better luck hitchhiking south or east.

Later this week? Then, wes had to go to the ER to get looked at? Wtf medical staff?!

I think it's a perfect excuse to get LA some rest and play the bench more before the break. Hopefully it's just hyperextended or a deep bruise.

My guess is that they want to wait for the swelling to go down a bit so they get a more accurate scan...but then, what do I know? I'm just a message board MD.
