@HomerLovesKoolAid and I are trying to figure that out. Did you go through the hospital? Insurance? County?

Good idea. If you have any suggestions let me know.

I just reached out to the Blazers.

I know his name is on the wall of the Moda as an original season ticket holder. Not sure if it stays there if he no longer has tickets.
County health dept should have adult senior services which provides caregivers for disabled seniors like Lanny...I'd contact them...probably Portland adult senior services....but be careful and don't confuse it with escort services! In Eugene it's Lane County Senior Services.

There is a huge difference between canned olives and other olives. the olives with the metallic taste are canned and i can taste it through the cooking on a pizza. I pick them all off.
most pizza chains use canned olives. Disgusting.

The good places either use bagged or something because there is no metallic taste.
Real natural olives are great. Most olives are not natural.
Same. I grew up thinking I hated olives. But, when I started running a Cheese and Charcuterie case, I was also responsible for buying olives along with a million other things. It made me fall in love. I think everyone owes it to themselves to eat a crisp non-pitted Castelvetrano olive. It is like butter.

I started posting on O-Live when I was pretty young, a couple of decades ago. Lanny was and always will be the ultimate Blazers fan. My heart goes out to him, his family and all of the friends that he has out there. Really rough news. I just hope he gets to be where he wants and is as comfortable as possible going forward.

Lanny got some very sad news today from his doctors. They're saying 2-4 weeks. They want to send him to a care facility but he just wants to go home and I don't blame him.

I really don't know what to say.

Shit. That's devastating. I can't even.

@Lanny you're a great man and an amazing person. I've enjoyed our conversations more than I can express. Meeting you years ago was an honor.

I hope you prove them wrong and enjoy your loved ones for years to come.

Here's looking forward to many more stimulating conversations in the future.

We'll talk to you soon.

Shit. Fuck, man. This is awful news. You have a legacy on so many levels! Family, friends, passions and hobbies. I haven't had the chance to really talk with you much but that doesnt matter, it hurts all the same. You're loved, friend. You're appreciated and you brought so much to so many. Defy the odds!!

Keep kicking ass. Cause damnit, you're Lanny!

I think the first time we all met was upstairs at Grand Central Bowl.
