Trade Larry Nance Jr traded to Portland

He made an unsuccessful offer, then shifted gears and got a third team involved, and made a deal for a different but similar player. That doesn't seem like an accident to me.
He made an unsuccessful offer for a crappy player and lucked into a good one. Just like with Nurk. And just like a bunch of crappy free agents whom we were lucky rebuffed his advances.

Also, "similar"? They're similar in that both are tall, but that's about it.

What is the KC logo on the jersey?
I guess its not BioFreeze any longer?

Beats me. I can't place that logo.

biggest concern for me about Nance and Zeller additions are injuries/games played, both guys have missed a good bit of time over their careers. Fit wise I think they are excellent, lets hope they can stay healthy

Both should be carrying lighter loads than before, which should help with that.

Nance missed a lot of time last year, but the (not your) narrative that he's missed a bunch over the years, especially the last three years, is a bit misleading. Ignoring last year, he's missed about 8-9 games a year on average. That's a pretty typical number for durable players.

Edit: Err, pandemic brain fart ... was somehow doing the math based on 72 games a year instead of the usual 82. So, he's missed more like 18 games a year. Not quite as good as I was thinking.

oh yeah duh!!! Id gladly trade for Kanter. So much respect for the guy on and off the court. One of the true class acts in the nba.

so… do you so? ;)
Ha Ha No. I do not sew. Try Modern Domestic sewing on Alberta St.
I understand that is in a part of town some of you might be scared to enter but believe me you will be okay.

Also Kanter will most likely be a Blazer again if he wants Steve Blake's record.

Sbiiiit….

anyone wann buy a Jersey???

You have a Leonard Jersey? Take it to a seamstress and have the name removed.

seriously? Can that be done? Who is the best 11 eleven Blazer? Can i have that name sewn in instead? Wont it leave stitching marks making it look cheesy?

Most recently Kanter.

"Chalupa" Luke Bobbitt

All of those players have defiled the #11 as it belongs to Sabonis who is in the Hall of Fame. Half of the Blazers numbers (or more) are a bit of an embarrasment to be hanging in the rafters, but a guy who only wore one jersey in his NBA career and is in the Hall, doesn't have his number retired. I get that it isn't the NBA Hall of Fame and much of what he is in for is for International ball before he was injured, but out of respect, it seem a little crappy they keep giving it some of these scrubs....or others like Vladimir Stepania.

Vladimir Stepania wanted the number because Sabonis wore it. That was his Idol. He is a player i have no problem with at all. Meyers Leonard now is another question.

great point! Sabonis it is!

There was a thread. Immediately once it was announced. 23 pages long now. What’s the fake news?

That's what you'd have people believe. We're wise to your shenanigans.

Being a Blazer fan is awesome, we get the same amount of excitement over trading for Nance than the Lakers get about trading for AD, except we post more about it.

For the record I love the trade, I’ve wanted Nance for awhile.

Sure, Blazer fans get excited over shit, but Laker fans thought Alex Caruso was the best thing since sliced bread.

That's a fair take, considering your opinion of Markkanen.

I'd just have a tailor emboss "Bernstein" below Leonard...would be a cool move...

Dead 31 years.

Dead six years.

screw it. Im a rocker. Im changing leanard to lynard. And im adding skynard below it.

Plane crashed 44 years ago.

Cohen. Every made shot is a Hallelujah.

Dead five years.

Meyers Leonard: Good as dead from a career standpoint.

Live solution: Put Kawhi above Leonard and tell people Olshey is on the verge of making the deal.
