Well, they were attacking Rittenhouse. One was bashing him with a skateboard and the other was chasing him, telling him earlier if he caught him, he would kill him.

If there is rioting outside your home and you go down there with your sword to protect your home, neighbors, and local businesses that is one thing. If there is rioting in Vegas and you decide to grab your sword and drive over to jump in the action you're an idiot.

If you leave your home looking for a fight thats got nothing in the world to do with you & packing an illegal gun, you're a criminal and vigilante. Why anyone wants more of that behavior is beyond me. It is not illegal to protest. It is illegal to kill. Only 1 person shot and killed people, one idiot kid. Fuck him.

If there is any evidence he threatened, accosted or pointed his gun at anyone without justification, I have yet to see it.

All of his kills were self defense.

Bullshit and you know it. The evidence is he left his house with an illegal gun to find a fight that wasn't his. He made up fantastical scenarios to justify his presence there, which was all nonsense. A juvenile running around with an illegal AK in the street, he's threatening every single person there & unsurprisingly people felt threatened. Why in the world are you over looking the obvious to defend this dangerous vigilante moron? Is more needless shootings/death the goal?

It's not obvious. You need actual evidence. No indications that he started any violent altercations, he just ended them after being assaulted, which was backed up by witness testimony (and that of a surviving victim), photos and videos.

Him leaving the house with the gun isn't sufficient to convict him of murder. It's a weapons violation.

He was attacked and he defended himself with appropriate force.

One guy had his gun drawn, pointed at him and advanced at him.

Another was striking him with a skateboard.

The last guy previously threatened to kill him and was chasing him and attempted to grab his gun.

He shouldn't have been there. He put himself there. No one to blame but himself.

If I got a gun and went downtown and put myself in the middle of a volatile situation and ended up shooting protestors, that's on me because I went there with a gun in the first place.

If you weren't being the aggressor, not pointing your gun at anyone, not threatening anyone and people start attacking you, then you would have justification to defend yourself.

The simple act of bringing the gun, like I said, doesn't give people the authority to attempt to kill you.

Yes, it's a bad decision, but it's not murder if those protestors attacked you.

If you attacked them first then yes, that would be murder.

So then he and the person who illegally purchased the weapon and the person who helped him carry it across state lines (as was claimed earlier) should get felonies and be prohibited from buying firearms ever again.

That doesn't make them murderers. Especially if they acted in self defense.

I don't know that he did, but I would need evidence that he was the aggressor to want him convicted of murder. Maybe manslaughter or something like that... But not murder unless there is evidence he attacked the alleged victims first.

When I see someone coming with an assault rifle I consider it a threat and prepare to defend myself.
