When the winning team takes a turn over instead of shooting it with a few seconds to go.......you don't fucking take the ball and attack the basket. Not sure why Leonard needs to apologize to Jimmer, seems like it should be the other way around. D league or not, the Jimmer should know basketball etiquette by now. yep. the fans were chanting for jimmer, he wanted to hit a shot. i dont have a problem with it just like i didnt care when batum hit a 3 on san antonio to get his triple double. san antonio lost that game regardless, we won last night regardless. meyers fouled him because they had just taken a shot clock violation so not to embarrass them more, then jimmer wanted to hit a shot, meyers checked him, i don't have a problem with that either. sends a message to the league we dont give freebies. as a fan at the game i would have enjoyed the last few seconds of entertainment, especially if i was a knick fan and just had to watch that shitty team for the 60th+ time this season.

I've been on this board as one of the more ardent naysayers of Meyers, but even I can say the last 2 games has been the Meyers I was hoping to see. Lets hope he can do it more often than not.

(If he takes 4-7 shots per game, grabs 8-10 boards, I'm really okay with that.)

I just don't like his game. IMHO he should have a laser like focus on developing his post game. With his athletic ability he should be a pick & roll magnet just as much as a pick and pop guy. It's like he hardly dunks anymore. I sincerely hope we don't re-sign him.

Weak? Him hitting 4/7 on three point shots is as good as him shooting 6/10 on 2pt shots. I don't give a shit what it seems like as long as he produces while opening up the middle for our guards to drive in. Leonard pisses me off when he hacks on defense and loses confidence on offense-- not when he shoots threes.

His jumper is such a slow developing erector set of a shot though. He needs to be wide open to have the time to get it off. If I were to have him work on anything it would be to stop hesitating and become comfortable going up in one fluid motion. It seems his confidence wavers because he's afraid of getting capped.

Meyers should be our third leading scorer but he isn't because he has yet to diversify his game. I like bigs who do big people things. I could give a shit about his three-point shooting ability to be honest.
