Did my big stocking up shopping trip at Berkeley Bowl market. They sell loads of stuff bulk. Tea is $4 a pound more than it was last time I went. All tea is imported.
 
I have some stuff I put in my Amazon cart yesterday that I'm ordering for Father's Day, and the prices have jumped a lot overnight. Mrs PokerDog just checked on something she ordered last week, and the price today is significantly higher.

I wandered into our local Ace Hardware on Saturday and was talking to a former coworker. They are increasing prices weekly and can't keep up. He pointed out a BBQ that was $400 last week. Today it is $459 and he expects it to go up again very soon. It is freaking insane. The only good thing (I guess) is that it hurts the MAGAts in the long run.....

As we've seen with the pandemic, a ton of businesses and corporations will raise prices on things that aren't tariff-related out of profit greed.

Definitely, but not Ace (or at least this Ace). Their prices are already at the higher end and they know it. Most of Ace's stuff comes from China (especially all the BBQ stuff. Thanks a lot Traeger). All the nuts (except MAGA), bolts and other hardware comes from China. Most if not all the tools are made in China. Ace just might as well change their signage to Tariff Hardware....
