If Fox is telling the truth, big if, making billions from tariffs means American businesses and consumers have paid billions of dollars as a result of tariffs.

Like I was saying, it doesn't offset the losses.

Also funny how he says rates are down, well they should be.

While eggs came down a bit, food prices are about to skyrocket.

And you can't say there is no inflation. There is always inflation.
Just to support your point. Eggs come down after winter every year. They are still about 50% higher than they were this time last spring...

Freedom's just another word for nothin' left to lose...

Trump says he is going to add another 50% Tariff tomorrow for China if they don't back down that will go into effect Wednesday. China would then have a 104% Tariff on them.

Literally entered the wrong parallel universe in 2016 when Sanders wasn’t elected. Ugh I hate this reality, like this trade war led by an orange buffoon failed businessman who was elected because he came up with a slogan that he put on a red hat like wtf.

Fox commentator said tariffs will .ale American men manly. Because manufacturing will magically return and all those deportations will open up construction, trucking, agriculture, and custodial jobs for American men. Manly jobs.
No reason American men couldn't do those jobs now. Immigrants do jobs Americans don't want

Manufacturing has been begging for people to do those jobs for at least 20 years. That's our biggest problem in manufacturing. We can't get enough people to do enough work.

That's the great thing about causing a depression. There will be plenty of cheap labor available!
Not just manly men, but manly women and manly children can all work in the factories, mines, and fields.

What if we could make a situation where they had to work or you would kick their families out of their houses... And run them out of town...

Think of it...

Rather than pay exorbitant tariffs to do business with the US many more overseas manufacturers are saying stop selling to the US because you have to sell your products at a loss with the tariffs...it's a ridiculous financial strategy. We just destroyed our favored nation trade status. Not to mention how the cost of medicine manufactured in Europe or Canada will rise as well...this is going to punish low income Americans brutally as well as retailers, restauranteurs, the entertainment and travel industry, just everything we've built as a country will suffer..

Microsoft cancels $1 Billion project to build 3 new data centers in Ohio—just 5 days after Trump tariffs. Licking County, Ohio will now lose roughly 1,000 jobs & $150 million per year in revenue for the local economy. 400–600 construction jobs & 540 permanent jobs were expected to be created at full operation of the 3 new data centers. Microsoft said it abandoned the $1 billion project "after careful consideration" of the shift in economic forecasting. If the economy improves the company "will continue to evaluate these sites" for future projects. In the meantime, Microsoft will still own the land and use it for farming—creating no new jobs.
