Lillard flying to LA to convince LA to resign here

If Lillard manages to convince LA to come back, will the celebration for LaMarcus be bigger or the praise heaped on Dame for returning LA to the fold?

This is why I don't ultimately believe this ploy works. I can see LA thinking, "If I come back, Dame will get all the credit."

It's certainly like a cliched script for a romantic-comedy, especially with the requisite scene where the male lead flies across the country at the eleventh hour to reveal his true feelings to the female lead. In this case, LaMarcus is the female.

And now that 7 or 8 other teams have blown their loads all over him - are we sure we want him back?

Oh great. LaMarcus comes back. Then he sees that all the cheers are for Dame. So he decides to demand a trade and we get to start all this over again. Fantastic!

"Lamarcus, two years ago we won the first playoffs series since you've been here; injuries fucked us, so we went out, got more depth, length, and athletic - we swapped out Batum and Wes, for Plumlee, Hendo, Vonleh, Ed Davis and Aminu. We have a bench now. C'mon homie. Lets go." *Calls up Lopez on conference call - Lopez - lets go."

...this! +1

We can't fit Wes and Rolo and LMA. Only Wes or Rolo. Would LMA be ok with Plumlee, Meyers, Davis, Vonleh, Kaman at center?

Its conceivable we could keep all three if we trade away Hendo and Kaman.
I thought we could go over the cap to retain our guys?

Are you sure you don't want to go to San Antonio? Or Phoenix? Maybe Miami? New York perhaps? Take your time to decide, please.

We can start a bunch of threads about where he might go.
