Remember this move by Beverley? Westbrook has had 3 surgeries on that knee in one year. Should have been a foul called, at minimum. If the NBA wants scrubs like Beverley injuring star players, then they'll let this type of bullshit continue this year in the playoffs.

Anybody watch Beverly play his last 2 games? How does he look? I swore they reported he was done for the year and now the guy is out there competing?
 
I could make a video where I show the clips of all the players who have done the exact same thing this year but that video would be hours long. It was unfortunate but in no way intentional. I could argue against the notion that Beverley is dirty but I know no one wants to hear it and will never change their minds.

Really? You can find a video where a scrub on another team takes out the knee of a much better player on a foul which isn't called milliseconds before an obvious timeout, and then has his reputation enhanced because of it?

BEVERLEY IS A DIRTY SCRUB. If you can't see that, it's because you're a Houston fan with homer blinders over your eyes.

If Westbrook wasn't such a douchebag himself, Beverley would be the most-hated player in the NBA for his tactics.

This happened the game before Westbrook got injured. The coach yelled to call a timeout during durant's free throw. So Westbrook knew Lin was going to call a timeout and dove for the ball anyways going for the steal. Its not dirty. It happens all the time. So was Beverley's attempted steal different? I said it was unfortunate that he got injured but that wasn't the intent. Even though you can apparently read minds since you claim it was deliberately done to hurt Westbrook.

The last thing I am going to do is defend Beverley so don't think this is about that douche but you make it sound like defenders, in general, should know when a time out is coming. They can guess but they don't know when it will be called. They are going to guess wrong 90% or more of the time. If they did know then Andre Miller wouldn't have scored the famous layup on the New Orleans Hornets to stop a run.
 
I think we can all agree, Patrick Beverly is an asshole. I hope Damian puts up forty on that piece of garbage.

edit: If we ever make the mistake of playing Meyers Leonard it should be with the sole purpose of doing Patrick Beverly harm.

I'd forgotten how much I can't stand Stephen A.

The play where Lillard knocked knees with Nash was not remotely similar to the Beverley play.

If you can't see the difference between those two videos then you are either a blind homer or SlyPokerDog. I would go with homer to save face if it was me.
