If she still has her senior year ahead of her I'm pretty sure you have a long ways to go in your recruiting adventure.
In womens college soccer, the major conferences and programs will be wrapping up there class of 23 recruiting by this summer. If she waits to long to make her decision, all that scholarship money will be dried up. Boy athletes usually wait til their senior season to commit. It’s strange.

UPDATE for those who care.....

Western Washington asked to get an answer to their offer by the end of June and upped it. Went from $3500 a year for living expenses to $8500! An UNREAL offer!

So with San Diego/Pepperdine/Seattle U all still in the mix, my daughter reached out and asked her status with each school. She is getting close to making a decision.

She just got off the phone with USF and they made her an offer she might not be able to refuse.

A 1/2 athletic scholarship and full academic. UNHEARD of for freshman. Said she was their top recruit for her class and wanted to see her in the Green and Gold. So with the school costing $73,000 a year with room and board......they are offering her $62,000. So we will have to pay basically for her housing and food and books for the 4 years and that's it!!!!

We are all ecstatic!!!!! And unreal offer for a freshman going to one of the top D1 women soccer conferences in the country!!!!

I am in SF for Game 5 of the WCF, so I am going to meet with the coaches tomorrow morning just to go over some details.......

This has been an emotional crazy up and down rollercoaster ride. Eye opening, learning journey. Very proud of this one. so looking forward to a quiet less stressful senior year.

Looks like The Bay will be her home for a few years.

As her agent, you owe me 20%, or $14,600 for the first year.

Thanks you guys. Looks like she is going to commit tomorrow. But won’t put it out there til next week sometime.
She doesn’t know I just made this for her when she announces it!!

Seriously, thanks for letting me share. It’s tough to share with the parents of her teammates and best friends about this. Their kids aren’t getting the same attention my daughter is and didn’t want to bring it up to them.

You know it's silly--I remember seeing a profile on the Frazier twins a few months back and I was like "whatever--Olivia's probably better than they are!" Like, it's not even my kid, but I was somehow indignant that I was seeing a news story about her teammates and not about her. So I can see how it'd be tough for other teammates' parents to hear about your daughter's success.

I'm glad this community of nerds is here for you.

As effed up as this country (and world) is getting more and more every day, good news is hard to come by. So we (or at least I do) appreciate you making us a part of something so positive. Thank you for that ray of something good. We needed it.

Jesus christ.... I'm going to push my daughter into the trades

Or sell a kidney. Not sure which.
Tell them to get good grades. My daughter has a $35000 per year scholarship towards her tuition at U of A which will cover the tuition all 4 years and has other scholarships for housing. All because she has a 4.25 GPA and going into a STEM Program.

With that high of a GPA they're going to claim she is on the football team. Bring up the team cumulative up to .5.

I’m not worried. She’s gonna be the first female Blazer. She just doesn’t know it yet.
