Just going by this site, it seems like most Duck fans like the Beavers and want them to win every game but the CW, and you never see any Beaver fans talking about college football until the Ducks lose, then it's open season (see what i did there?). As someone that has gone to neither school and likes both (and would probably rather go to OSU actually), there is definitely some pent up aggression and i suspect jealousy involved.

Just because the Beavers don't talk about football on here doesn't make them pent up with aggression and/or jealousy. There are plenty of other sites to talk about college football, and I for one do not do it here.

However, when there are threads made about the Ducks or Beavers on the Portland TrailBlazers forums, I will participate in that discussion and trash talk accordingly.

I was born ans raised a ducks fan. Loved them. Then I went to school on Corvallis. Things change big time and you realize what most duck fans act like. There are great duck fans for sure, but a lot of them are complete douchebags.

Funny thing is, most of the hate comes from OSU fans. I wouldn't even consider the trash-talking the eastern schools do as hate; they merely are saying they're better teams and tougher conferences.

I'm pretty sure that the OSU hatred for UO grows when articles fan the flames of hatred with headlines such as "The Oregon Ducks -- America's favorite college football team?"

I do laugh at beaver fans when they talk shit and get all puffed up about a duck loss. I think it's pathetic and hilarious. You're a beaver fan so I wouldn't expect you to understand.

I do feel bad for you when your team is consistently mediocre and middling. I would prefer that both teams are successful instead of Stanford or Washington or USC.
