It's not personal attack. Especially because it's 100% accurate.

You apparently won't look at the videos and pictures of Biden being creepy. I'd call that blind, and reasonably so.

I've heard that argument before on here many times. Sorry but that's a terrible justification for insulting someone. Would pretty much nullify the personal insult rule.

Everyone should just stick with insulting me.

Do I have to spell it out for you? Calling someone ignorant and blind is a personal attack.

As someone else in here pointed out, you'd have to get in his mind to know if he was thinking anything creepy and I'm quite certain you nor anyone else can do that.

Please stick to the issue and leave the characterizations for the toilet.

Nobody likes insults and they lead to a discussion that gets no where. Sticking to the issues is the best way to go.

I explained WHY you are "blind" and "ignorant."

I specifically asked if you were deliberately being ignorant. You've convinced me it is deliberate.

The .01% line of thinking. Or "if it's not from source I (you) deem credible, it isn't worth knowing."

By definition, ignorant.

It's not derogatory, but encouraging you to bother to know about the subjects.

Edits for personal insults have never been partisan.

Insults escalate quickly beyond being just petty.

Everyone here has the ability to attack and debate what people say, people don't need to be attacked or insulted personally.

Removing personal insults does nothing to hurt discussions and debates in the OT section. In fact it encourages it.

What you deem are insults is partisan. You've been called on it many times over the past years. By people other than me.

Don't worry about the OT forum. And do not make up your own new rules for it.

I never said .01%, re-read my post. You're off by a magnitude.

I would say that my record speaks for itself. Check the admin log for the last 24hrs, I have edited personal insults from Maris and Cupwizer. I would say they are on opposite ends politically. My personal beliefs have never entered into edits for personal insults. The vast majority of edits for personal insults are just me changing the insult to me instead of the person it was originally intended to be insulted. If I were editing personal insults to support a bias on my part I wouldn't change them to make me the butt of the insult. I try to keep it very simple, if I see a post that says, "you are a ______" and the ______ is insulting I edit it. Doesn't matter which side of the argument it's on.

Not necessarily my domain, but since Sportstwo has both its own OT forum and a separate Blazer OT-subforum, wouldn't it mange sense that one is under the purview of Blazer mods, but the other isn't?

I mean, yeah this is your site, and you can of course set whatever rules for it that you want, but it seems pretty disingenuous to have this area specifically be a subforum of the Blazer board, but tell Blazer mods not to moderate it.

I don't see why we want to change the rules from what has been in place for a decade.

I really don't see why we want to become confrontational with posters by editing, especially on topics that get peoples' blood boiling.

What we do in the main Blazers forum is a different set of rules.

Yes, I didn't like it so much that I immediately complimented you and pointed out that you have edited and deleted posts for personal insults in the OT section too.

Oh for crying out loud, would you two knock it off? Hash this out with PMs and come to an agreement about what goes and does not go in the OT area, make an announcement, and then live by it. This is fucking stupid.
 
When the president leads the country by insult it bleeds over into daily culture ...the divide between those insulting and those insulted hasn't been this aggressive in a long time...probably since Nixon..problem here is that it's being allowed to be used in personal attacks rather than attacks on posts...enough folks get to do this in OT to make it the S2 standard....with humor.....I get it...when the tone is serious...it escalates...don't see how personal insults add to the forum in any form
