Yes, you had me down for 2. Perfect.

I'll be there, but I won't need a ticket since I grabbed 2 at the Wheels Meet and Greet.

Yes, but I could use help.

I don't know how much help I can be, but I will be taking my father who cant wait to meet Mike And Bill! Any rate, Sly if you need help we can be there early, though I've never met anyone so I don't know how much help I would actually be. I just want offer my services because what you are doing for us is phenomenal! If you could use help you should get it!

Just hold a sign that says, "rip city 2. See me about Mrs HCP autographs."

I'm getting stoked for this and really appreciate the effort Sly has put into it as well as the Blazers. Question, coming up to Portland from the south, where would you recommend parking..the Moda Center? I've got a tight schedule to get back that night so need to plan a quick getaway. I talked to my son about giving rides but he's afraid the trip back is going to be down to the wire for his work schedule so probably not this time. Otherwise we'd be happy to take passengers.

I park at the convention center. It's cheaper and a short walk. Also where you exit has less traffic and is easier to get out of.

Damn, if you had about 15 minutes after the game, I'd say the Lloyd Center. That's where I always park. It's free!

But yeah, the CC is a good spot too.

People say that about Gresham too. Hilarious.
I remember walking to a MAX station in Gresham after taking the GRE nearby. Def saw a drug deal happening on a corner. lol I was startled initially, but ended up in West Philly for grad school 6 months later, which was exposure to this stuff on a whole new level. Gresham is vanilla as hell

Yeah I agree. I've lived on the eastside of Portland most of my life and it's not nearly as bad as people try to say it is. As long as you're not put at midnight walking by yourself in Rockwood, you're fine. Same can be said for Lloyd center too though. Personally I think it's fine to have a little crime so cops don't get bored with nothing to do. I lived in west Linn for a couple years, and cops would follow me and check out the dumbest shit because they had nothing to do.

Yeah, the 'burbs, lotta money goes into paying cops to focus on stupid ticky-tack traffic shit. But, there's something to be said for that. With two kids, I'd rather have that, be able to keep my door unlocked, all that jazz..... than the other shit that goes down. West Linn's crime rate is the lowest in the state, and the one reported violent crime last year was a domestic case. Slice it how you want, but with two kids, I'd prefer uber-vanilla 'burbs to living closer in or Greshman (plus, the schools and parks are top-level).

That being said, I travel enough to see that the PDX-metro is uber-safe compared to every other major metro area I've been too. Aside from the gated communities in bigger cities, walking through most any streets in the Portland-metro area at night aren't any more dangerous than anywhere else I've been.
