How many did he miss just before that>

He had a bad night, yes. But so did Roy in that game against Houston. What matters is that you step up when the game is on the line and put it away. And Travis did that. Give credit where credit is due. Without that three, we probably lose.

Impossible. It is Travis Outlaw. He is never supposed to miss a shot, should be all-NBA defense, and needs to pass the ball more often. ;)

Great win. All of our competition win tonight but we still hold 4th place.

I hope that Outlaw, Sergio and Frye are no longer Blazers by tomorrow night.

if you think outlaw is +11 because of anything he's done you're delusional

I'm not the one bitching about the guy every day. He hit a big shot, had a nice +/-, and the team won. What's not to like?

Out law was 3 for 9 tonight I think. That three and only two other shots throughout the game. Nic had a much better game and deserved to be in more at the end. He also might have hit that shot. I like Travis when he is playing well but would trade him in min. if we could get a good to great SF/PG.

You have to admit that Outlaw hit the big shot tonight. Without that three, we fold like a house of cards.

with batum playing defense instead of outlaw tonight we wouldn't have needed that shot. he also forced 2 straight before that shot.

and i wasn't singling outlaw out - aldridge and rudy were playing like head cases tonight also for some reason.

Well, that's a completely different subject than what I was addressing. I'd trady Rudy if the team could get a good to great SF/PG. So what?

All of the "this woulda happened if only _____" is silly and pointless. Travis isn't an allstar or anything, but he brings a lot to the table and I, for one, would miss him if he were traded.

Yet he ended up with a nice +/-.

But you did single out Outlaw.

Travis blocked Miles first shot attempt, so cut him a break tonight.

Batum may be the teams best finisher on the fast-break, amazing hands and body control. He didn't play the entire 4th, I believe? Why? God. Why?

I saw a shot of KP in the stands and he had a cup of coffee, methinks he's in for a long night.

Fuck the refs.

Outlaw has experience hitting big shots in the 4th. That is why he was in there. And he delivered. As always.

Like I already said, Roy had a pretty bad night before hitting that shot against Houston but I didn't hear anyone complain about him after the game.

I would like to see a trade tomorrow for Butler, RJ or somebody else we havn't heard of but not VC. I don't mind giving up Outlaw but have to admit we will miss him in the 4th qtr. I hope who ever we trade for can also step up. I'm also hoping we will start winning early where we don't need the 4th qtr big shot.

nothing we can't get elsewhere with better defense.

Heh... Yeah. Great defenders who can hit clutch shots with the game on the line are a dime a dozen. The league is just overflowing with playmaking, lockdown defenders. Can't get away from em.

It's not even Outlaw's offense that worries me. I hate his bad shots, but most people know he can get it going at any time.

What worries me, is his defense. He simply lets people drive past him and if they miss, he doesn't go for the rebounds. At least a guy like Batum hustles and disrupts numerous players. You know when Mayo went for the layup at the end of the game? Who allowed him to penetrate? Outlaw. When Batum was on Mayo, he forced him to take jumpers.

VC is mucho clutcho.

Maybe and I admit he is a good player but we don't need him especially if they want Rudy and picks with RLEC. That's just crazy and if KP falls for Thorn's bullshit we need to fire him and that's from someone that's loves KP as our GM.

Agreed. Which is why KP isn't falling for it.

Serg+Outlaw+Raef. If they don't want it, we move on.
