I'd say they become at least co-equal Eastern Conference contenders. Cleveland would still have a continuity edge, while Boston would be trying to integrate George, but the Celtics have a big coaching edge. Plus, with Love out, Boston would likely grab the #1 seed and have home court advantage.

George (or Butler) would be such a great addition in Boston because they fit so well into the defense while adding a huge amount offensively.

I think CHI will be much more likely to deal Butler during the Draft than today. I'd rather be patient in the hopes of scoring Butler, than rush into a meh trade.
That said, I'd love to do something minor like trade Aminu/Davis/Meyers for picks.

Butler is locked up long enough (at a bargain contract even) that I would give them all our picks and we might even get another. Most likely this deal happens at draft though if at all.
