I spent 4 days in Spokane watching NCAA hoops, including the best college basketball game I've ever witnessed in person (Michigan State 85-83 over the Turtles; Lucious for THREEEEE!!!), and I come home to this shitstorm today. This year has been 100% adversity, and this time, it's those pricks in Seattle intentionally causing the adversity.

I feel like Vulcan has fucked up time and time again...and here we go again. I wish there was someone from Vulcan I could go scream at right now...

Miller was possibly the best acquisition/ FA signing in the league last summer. With all the injuries we've had, we're still in the playoffs. KP should be in the running for EOY this year, but the idiots at Vulcan don't get it. So frustrating.

Yep. The Vince Carter trade has worked out OK for Orlando, but only because he's finally starting to play a little bit better late in the year.

Here is my take.

Paul Allen didn't like Tom Penn. So he fired him. Tom caused some tension between KP and Paul. KP was bummed like all of us when our friends get fired. Then we get over it. KP's agent is a prick. (KP would be wise to fire him) KP said he has never asked for an extension. Not once. Paul has no desire to rush into any extension. Why should he?

Good synopsis. But why was Penn fired in the first place? Not liking him isn't not a defensible reason.

Dwight Jaynes brings up a great point. It's not just Vulcan. It's KP's agent. It's other teams in the NBA that have bound together to bring KP down.

Oregon's an At-Will state; it's perfectly reasonable to fire anyone for no reason.
