He is clearly the best player on either team. That makes him MVP. Learn the game, than post.
hahaha just knowing that a "Blazers fan" set me up with a pro-Lakers sig would almost be enough to make me wish for it to happen
He can't close. Learn the game, THEN post.
He can't close.
Haha. I'm a Blazer fan who is not blinded by Laker hatred. I love the game of basketball more than the Blazers.

You are blinded by Celtics hatred, though.
So if, somehow, it were determined that the Blazers winning a title was bad for the game of basketball (such as making Roy iso-ball more prevalent), would you root against the Blazers?
well like my take in that thread of yours, I don't think it really matters much in what will transpire... but if the Lakers lose game 6 I suppose it is possible that Jackson is publically perceived as even more of an ass then he already isHeard that. Indeed, I hope that is brought up during the Celtics practice(s). For once, I'd like a Jackson psych comment to backfire on him.

How is that bad for the game of basketball?
Well, it's unimaginative and ugly.
Better "for instance" might be if we replaced Nate with JVG, and a Blazer title meant a resurgence of '90s Knicks-style clutch-and-grab defense and average leaguewide scoring in the low '90s. Would you root against the Blazers in such a hypothetical scenario?
By the way, this isn't an attempt to challenge your fanhood or anything; I just found the statement you made curious, so I wanted to probe it a little more deeply.

Last time the Lakers won, Kobe was heaving up bricks and Fisher bailed em out. If it weren't for Fisher, it would've been over tonight.
You found my statement, "I love the game of basketball more than the Blazers" curious? If I didn't like Basketball I wouldn't be a Blazers fan.
You can't say that the other way around: "I like the Blazer's but I don't like Basketball"?
I've actually seen a few people say exactly that. I've seen even more say they love the Blazers, but hate the NBA. It's not as uncommon as you might think.
It must be the outstanding moral fiber of the Los Angeles Lakers that draws him in.![]()
But I'm the type to ignore it and just read the next post and hope there is intelligence in it.
Yes, because dog fighting, smoking weed, strip clubs, and screaming at refs in the parking lot after a loss screams "moral fiber".
On this board? You are an eternal optimist, aren't you?![]()

I thought we were discussing current events?
Haha.Of the 40 regular posters on here, I stick around for about 10 of them.
