And lo, David Stern spoke from the Heavens and proclaimed, thou shalt go seven games. So let it be said, so let it be done.

He tried his hardest to hand LA the game. Not sure what you're talking about.

Go to the Lakers forum. They just shot 15 more FTs and are now blaming the loss on the officials!

We simply got outplayed, Boston has been on one of these runs all post-season.

Phil Jax just claimed that his team got fucked by the refs. I didn't know he was coaching Boston.

LA is last in FT differential in the playoffs. I think that's why they're prone to accuse refs of stuff.

Tonight was a nice night for us though, I thought. I didn't have a problem with the calls overall, since they affected both teams.

Have them look at the replay on the Kobe 3 pt play where he does a double pump and banks it in. Perkins never touched him. (3-4 minutes left in the game) Or Nate Robinson's 3 pt shot where he got hit across the wrist. (and still made it) I would say the Lakers got a few calls too.

Like I even watched the game? Why in gods name would I watch the Lakers and Boston?

 good call.

I didn't watch all of the first one, but my dad was watching this one so I did too since I don't really spend that much time with him.

I also wouldn't have saved Kobe with the 5 fouls like that. My feeling is that a player like him might be able to play through it. Coaches act like only the fourth quarter counts.

Yeah, I hate that. If a key player who's having foul troubles finishes the game with less than 6 fouls, you (as the coach) left minutes by that player on the table. Essentially fouled him out early yourself.

Calls went the Lakers' way. Pierce and Big Baby had two clean blocks that were called foul. There was another play where Kobe just double pumped and so they called a foul on Boston. And one arguing point was "well, Boston didn't go to the rack. They were shooting threes." B.S. The Lakers shot more threes than Boston even attempted!

Refs were calling bs like usual oh well Boston sucks at home anyway so I wouldn't be suprised if they lost all 3 to the lakers in Boston but Ill stick with my original pick of Lakers in 6. Ray Allen is not gonna even come close to that performance again and KG and Pierce will continue to struggle and Kobe will not get in foul trouble again and he'll score 30-40 points and the Lakers will win in 6.

Game 3 - Lakers 95, Celtics 85
Game 4 - Lakers 99, Celtics 98
Game 5 - Celtics 111, Lakers 86
Game 6 - Lakers 98, Celtics 90

Kobe Finals MVP

LMAO.

Glad we agree. That's one of the worst things coaches do.

Celtics in 5. 6 at most. Celtics are the better team. If KG was healthy last year, they'd be threepeating.

Calls seemed pretty even to me. LA got a ton of contact calls near the basket were Boston didn't. Other then that there were a lot of calls that your looking at and wondering what the refs were thinking, but it was stuff on both teams and that happens every game in the NBA.

If Boston lost all three at home, I will never watch another basketball game in my life. quote me on it, and if you're man enough lets sig bet on it ;)

hell yeah man, imagine that 3peat by C's. We might still have a chance next year, especially how Rondo has turned out, Ray is a free agent, hopefully we can get some good veterans to sign up in the offseason. (and resign jesus)

He said Boston will win Game 5. That game is in Boston.

OT: Here comes the "no Bynum" excuse

Man, if Kobe starts at center and plays all 5 positions in a victory tomorrow, only then can we consider calling him the best Laker ever. And Kareem was more valuable than Bynum is.

Re: OT: Here comes the "no Bynum" excuse

Doesn't this belong in the general forum?

Re: OT: Here comes the "no Bynum" excuse

C'mon, Boston. Hold on!!

Lakers on a 7-0 run, all FTs

PJ with that zen stuff to his team: "The Celtics have already proven they how to lose games in the 4th."

Gotta admit, a rather shrewd comment at this juncture.
