That, or he is our Dubya Bush. A common target for everyone's derision, angst, and scorn, yet once he is gone, there is no specified place for the negativism. The end result is anger, confusion, and chaos, with no known place to focus the negativity. Thus, we get frustration, and ultimately lashing out at new targets, and the past week illustrates this, IMO.

MIXUM serves a purpose. We (subconsciously or otherwise) want, natch, need him in order to keep order within the community.
