Oh, that means nothing to me. We're fine with Frye and Diagu, right? Right?

I think I've just allowed myself to indulge in looking ahead, thinking about what we can be. And that's fine, but I really shouldn't let that pull me down. It's not much different now than at any point last year. We've still got ballers.

The thing I find interesting about all of this was that the foul by Bynum was unnecessary and even looked flagrant. Bynum made no effort for the ball and basically pulled Oden down by his shoulders. By rule it should've been called intentional. And for the life of me I don't know why more people haven't discussed the nature of foul. That's all.

Okay... I have to admit it. I'm down. Really down. I've been down all day. I think last night had a bigger effect on me than I thought. It really sucks what happened last night. The only good thing that happened was that Rudy played so well in his very first game as a rookie. He might become the frontrunner for rookie of the year.

Anger

Another stage of grief is anger. At this point, we have gotten past some or all of the denial, but now we are angry about the loss. We may want to take it out on something or someone, or we may just express our anger in ways that are familiar to us.

Looks like Kingspeed has moved on to stage four

I am serious. I watched the play a few times. Bynum made no attempt at the ball and pulled him down by his shoulders from behind. I don't think it was malicious but I do think it was an intentional foul by definition of the rule. It's cheap basketball and it's how players get hurt.. Does that mean I think Bynum is a cheap shot artist? No, I'm sure it was an accident.

Well, he missed time in his college season due to a finger issue. I don't see how that's related, really. I don't believe in "random injury magnets." Sure, some people are unlucky, but there's no reason to predict further unluckiness.
i agree.

sucks ass for me, I'm leaving the country in 2 weeks for 3 weeks, so it won't be until December where I get to see Oden play again. pissed.

If you have league pass, it comes with NBA LP Broadband for free.

Is Oden now damaged goods? I mean how weak can your ankle be to hurt it that bad in a fall like that? He has a big man curse where he will always be injury prone, and now that he's hurt himself, he'll just keep hurting that same spot, thats how it works with injuries like that. so yeah, i really hope that this isnt the case, but it looks to me like he will be injury prone his whole career.

Clearly you didn't see how his foot and ankle twisted. I'm surprised it didn't break.
