To come back from 2 goals down and not only tie but win in ONE half is a testament to the teams resilience. Saying something like "well if they played defense in the first half, blah blah blah" is basically shitting on their great second half comeback and on them. :cheers:

It's too bad that ref didn't get kicked out of the tourney. He was a line judge in the Italy/NZ game.

Didn't FIFA say they weren't going to make a decision about him until Monday? I'm still hoping for them to get rid of him. I recall the initial review of him was listed as "poor".

For the record, Curling is dope. Let's not get it twisted.

Also, I will admit I'm getting a bit geek'd out about the WC. I'm really enjoying it. I've decided Soccer reminds me of hockey a lot. The strategy in ball movement, the passing, the way they defend, the positioning of the players and the limited scoring. I'm starting to pick up on a lot. It's not just a bunch of dudes running around. There is some interesting strategic things happening. Kind of cool. I do wish there was a tad more scoring, less diving, and maybe one more ref on the field. But other than that, I will admit this is an interesting sport.

One question - if a player gets a red card, that player gets tossed out of the game, right? Does that mean his team has to play with 10 men the rest of the game?
