Not gonna be kind. It's really clear that Goodwin is trying to trash Joe through Shams/Haynes.

We had the post from Dame's cousin.

Joe sent Dame to his absolutely best chance to win a fucking title and now Joe is being dragged through the mud. They can fuck right off.
 
If we had new owners I doubt Dame would have asked out.
The Vulcans love the salary dump with more to come, when Ayton is traded down the road for picks.
Under Vulcan control we will only be a junior training ground for players. A step above the G league now for at least 5-7 years.

The Heat FO is in a bit of a bind here. Do they claim to have offered the moon, to appease fans and make them hate Cronin instead, or do they deny that they ever offered Herro to appease him?

Butler was the conduit working on Dame to convince Dame to say 'Only Miami'. Butler was working on Dame in June well before FA started. Butler went to Riley and told him to make Dame his #1 priority this off-season. (This is from a video clip interview I saw directly from Butler in early July)

When the Dame trade demand came out, I'm sure that Cronin felt like there was tampering occurring. There were at least some allegations discussed.

Butler is just trying to be a smart-ass here. Since there were allegations against him/Miami for tampering - he's throwing those allegations out against Milwaukee.

I think we should close this thread in a few days cause nothing good can come from it just more insults and such -- Dame is gone time to move on at least in terms of trade talk and what did not happen
 
The fun I'm having on social media the past 24 hours is watching the same Heat fans who just a couple of weeks ago were saying it made no sense for their team to offer much in return for Dame because of his age, contract and the Blazers' lack of leverage now are saying the Heat were offering more than was reported by anyone or they even were willing to give up, as an argument that they made a better deal than the Bucks.

Heat fans now are saying Riley offered Herro, 3 1R picks, a slew of second-round picks and, depending on who you read, some combination of Jovic, Jaquez and Martin.

Amazing.
