Common Dreams is to the far left, what Fox is to the far right. 98% cow dung.

Common Dreams reports the source of their reported numbers as the Gaza Health Authority. Which is a ministry of and controlled by Hamas. Who is doing everything it can to discredit Israel, and make them look like the bad guys. While Hamas is playing the innocent victim. Pure bull shit reporting.

UN HQ supplying power to Hamas tunnel system. With a Hamas main command center under UN HQ.

Hamas has to go, whatever the cost!

The UN needs to clean up their corruption, and stop helping and funding Hamas, whose goal is to destroy Israel.

The children in Gaza,,,,,,,, from a very early age, have been taught to hate the Jews, and to carry on the fight to destroy Israel. The evidence is very strong that there is no seperation between Hamas, and the people living in Gaza that not only support Hamas, but share the same beliefs.

I compare Hamas and their hatred of the Jews, to the KKK and their hatred for the Black people. Both teach their young to hate. Both have to go, regardless of the cost. Or, reform their beliefs and stop their hatred.

Reforming their beliefs is the answer. Not killing them. Offer care. Healthcare, electricity, education. Security.

It will take decades. But that's the solution. It's what we should have done in Afghanistan as well.

It is impossible to reform them, untill they want to change their beliefs. They have not shown any good faith gestures that they want to stop fighting, or, to stop hating the Jews.

Bribing them does not work. Their system is very corrupt.

Speaking of healthcare, not only did Hamas use the hospitals as military bases. Did you see the video of the person identified as a doctor, carrying an AK47 assault rifle outside of the hospital? The doctor was a Hamas fighter.

Sadly, the people of Gaza will suffer untill they are ready to stop hating. They are reaping what they sowed.

It doesn't matter what Hamas does.

An eye for an eye leaves the world blind.

Gaza will never stop hating Jews as long as this keeps up.

This will keep up until they are better educated and not as desperate, and don't feel as though they are being held down by Israel.

Hamas isn't spending millions in commercials and ads, that's Israel. Who's buying propaganda again? Hamas isn't buying our politicians. Again, that's Israel and AIPAC.

How's that for irony. Lack a bit of self awareness much?

Wouldn't you hate your occupier if all they did was murder your loved ones and called you less than an animal? By now, other regions in the world aren't as stupid as we are to devolve the argument to be about Muslims and Jews.

Millions of Jews around the world understand that Israel is not a representative of Jews just as the clerics in Iran are not representative of Islam. These are powerful people cosplaying in the name of religion to accrue power and get what they want. No different than so many Republicans hijacking Christianity and making it about hating gays and loving capitalism.

Everyone wants their children to get a good education and to have healthcare. Offer them great education and healthcare in a safe place. And teach those children. Show them love and compassion. Help their families whenever possible.

Help them build infrastructure. Help them improve their lot.

There will be attacks by Hamas. Some people will die. And as their children are being killed by Hamas they will start turning on Hamas.

Eventually you'll start turning them all, or enough that they'll get rid of the others.

This is what we should have done in Afghanistan. Had we done this from the beginning we wouldn't have had to pull out the way we did. And we would have made a huge amount of headway toward positive change in the Middle East.
 
Not every disagreement with Israel is spouting Hamas propaganda. And children are not pint sized terrorists. Although if you want to teach them to hate, bombing their home and killing their family...

We did this in Japan, Germany & South Korea and it worked. War is terrible but is worse if the survivors are not given any hope with a future.

For any of this plan to happen, and for any chance at peace between Israel and Gaza. Two things MUST happen.

1) Hamas must go
2) UNRWA must go

Watch this video on why UNRWA must go.



The only road to peace is for Israel to remove the terrorists, and take control of the security in Gaza. Then implement your good plan to help the people of Gaza to control their own lives, so Israel can get out of Gaza.

Untill Hamas and UNRWA are removed from Gaza, peace is not possible.

Example, it does no good to continue the education system they now have. Over half the teachers are members of Hamas. They are teaching the kids radical terrorist brainwashing. While the teachers are paid by UNRWA

No, you create safe and protected schools and hospitals in Gaza, and you protect them. You exclude Hamas and UNRWA from participating.

Win hearts and minds and the people will eventually make them go.

Hamas and UNRWA may attack you and they may attack the people of Gaza in retaliation for working with you.

That works to the benefit of Israel in the long term.. that is how the terrorists lose the hearts and minds of Gaza.

Wrong!

The reason your plan worked in Japan and Germany is because their leaders unconditionally surrendered, and gave complete security control to the allies. And many of their leaders were punished for war crimes.

I believe a case of your plan, of only having partial control, not working is Korea. The part controlled by the allies did much better for their people. And people still controlled by the communist are in far worse shape. Plus, this war never ended. More than 70 years later, N Korea is still a treat to world security today. The wars with Japan and Germany did end.

Hamas a UNRWA must go, or, this war never ends.
 
Interesting choice of words to be calling this a ‘war’. Not sure systematically killing thousands of civilians who aren’t fighting back is what most rational humans consider to be ‘war’. I think there’s a more appropriate term that I can’t quite place at the moment. I think it might start with a G.
