I complain a lot here about Al Jazeera, and this youtube video I found is a good example IMO to share my views. I know 95% of people here will be shocked and appauled and disagree with most of its claims, but I do want to share it so people can know this is exactly how most Israelis see the situation with media and power shifts.
I do not hope for people here to change their minds or think like I do, but I do feel these perceptions shown in the video are not voiced or shown in appropriate volume and therfore carry almost no weight when considering the complexity of reality.

Islamist/Jihadist must be removed from ruling Iran. Away with the theocratic regime, free the Iranian people.

Not by the US.
I want the people to over throw the regime, but realistically it could be difficult on their own as the regime is already slaughtering the protestors. We've seen this before and the regime through unmatched force tampers it down with ruthlessness.

We have also seen uprisings throw out repressive regimes. I am not aware of any time democracy was installed by foreign military.

Japan was under US military rule for a long time. In fact military collaborated on suppressing new union movement that arose after World War II.

Yes, Japan was under military rule for a while and the military worked on creating a constitutional democracy in Japan. Exactly what you asked about.

Union movements are not a requirement for democracy

Actually you can't call it democracy if there are no labor rights.

We can debate the post WWIi eta elsewhere. But do you genuinely think Trump would bring democracy to Iran?

Unions are allowed in Japan, thanks to the formation of democracy after the military rule, so I am not sure what your point here is.

My belief about Trump is irrelevant to the question you asked. You asked a specific question and I answered it. If that's an indicator of future outcome or not, well, that's a different question.

I don't know, nor do I have any interest in speculation about that, I am not conversant enough in the subject to make an informed guess.

But the original question, I happened to know the answer to.

Not a peep about Palestine when Biden is supplying the genocide and now I am to believe that the same people who didn't give a shit want to help free Iran? With who? A puppet? Iran should be free on its own terms. Not Israel's or the U.S.

Should Palestine be free on its own terms too? When is it okay to get involved and when it is not?
