That doesn't sound too likely. Waiving Korver doesn't clear his salary from the books unless they can reach a buy-out. Seems more probable that he's either a backup plan at SF if they don't sign Batum or that he's part of some 3-way sign-and-trade package.

Korver's contract is unguaranted, so yes it would be clearing his salary from the books.

he has a partially guaranteed contract, he can be bought out for 500k

so either they want him to keep to shed some salary

or they want him to trade as salary saving bait

true but it isnt here, and this is a place I go to at my place of work without fear (usually) of something popping up on my screen that is gonna get me fired. I'm not saying this guy spammed porn, but the group he came over here with did.
