Actually they did. That he shouldn’t lose playing time. His development is the most important part of this teams immediate future. Sacrificing his minutes so the seventh year scrub can play would be idiotic. Meyers doesn’t deserve anything, especially not the benefit of the doubt. A couple preseason games don’t change that. He’s not on the same trajectory as Collins. You don’t view them through the same lense.

I did add that they would both see time together, and that any contributions we get out of Meyers, due to our lack of front court depth, would be a bonus.

When it’s a rookie/sophomore and still developing, it’s worth something. When it’s a seventh year guy playing against backups nonetheless, nah.
 
I go with the thought that it's more important who finishes the game, rather than who starts it.
Jake is better offensively but Mo has the advantage defensively. Jake also has the advantage as far as consistency goes. So, I'd say start Jake and if Mo is playing hard, let him finish the game. If he doesn't play hard, sit him down.
The other part of this is Mo's attitude coming off the bench. A couple years ago, when he wasn't a starter, he seemed to pout. He should have to earn his starting spot after being hurt so far this year. And that may affect his effort.

Whether good or not, Mo's is still classic - I enjoy going once every 5 or so years (I live 4.5 hours east of Portland, so I don't get to the beach every year).

How often do you get to go to a game? How do you watch?
 
Both ML and Zach will see plenty of playing time this year. Zach due to his defense will get more because they need that more with 2nd unit then offense. The reason is you got Turner Nik Curry that can score and if Layman in there you got another scorer. What going hurt ML if teams go small ball so there no way ML will be able to play then due to his lack of quickness on defense side.

I've gone to 5 or 6 games in the last 20 years (1 was in SLC). I stream on foreign websites which doesn't work very well. My son is pushing for league pass. There may be options better than league pass, but I'm not sure. I don't have (or want) comcast.

Fucking Comcast (excuse my wording there) is a joke. Even if you try their streaming it sucks. Even more so if you have a comcast account. It's like the Blazers have gone all in on just televising games for the metro area. People in remote areas are almost out of luck. I spend a great deal of my time out of town. Used to be you could find blazer fans out of town. Nowadays people who live out of the Portland area simply don't even look for Blazer games.

In my opinion the best options if you have dont have comcast and dont want to stream from reddit are hulu+ and psvue.
