Moe's big night

He played 7 minutes against the Pacers. That's not enough time to make a definitive judgment. I think he can handle the ball reasonably well. He just needs to slow down.

And got used every time he guarded Leaf. I don't remember 1 stop. They're both rookies and Leaf torched him.

Not quite. Turner was overpaid summer of 2016. I was referencing Moe's perfectly adequate performance as the starting SF in 2016-17, after Turner's arrival.

If Moe had performed in 2015-16 as he did in 2016-17, he'd have received a much larger deal that summer, and it's arguable Turner wouldn't have been signed. There's a reason many in here (you included) were very much against the idea of Moe being traded away this past summer--because his defense, athleticism, and shooting seemingly gave us everything we really needed at SF, despite his shortcomings as a playmaker.

First, he never given us everything at SF. Not even close. This is NOT was I was for keeping him. Go back and look at any of my posts. They were about him being the BEST on the team at cutting without the ball and finishing.
Literally no one but our starting guards are better. I'd MUCH rather have a Batum type at SF than a Moe type. Also, I was not for Turner starting.

You have to be able to handle the ball adequately to play that position. Aminu and Harkless can both do this without turning it over. I don't ever want to see Collins taking the ball across half court.

I think Collins can handle the ball as well as Aminu. Just my opinion.

So maybe Harkless saw against the Knicks and also the Wizards how a SF can be involved on Offense with the big 3.

Can't believe this guy was my 3rd favorite player on the squad!
Now he runs like he's got shit in his pants.

How can we make this happen? How many draft picks would we need to include? Would this solidify our SF position?
Milwaukie is underachieving and may want to make some changes

They would have to be New Jersey Nets with lawrence frank bad to even think about taking this abysmal offer. Why would they give up their 2nd best player and a growing player in Brogdon when they are only 9-9?

I only tossed brogdon in there to make salaries work. I dont know him. All I want is Middleton. What would it take to get Middleton with any of the following:
Napier/Harkless/Leonard/Aminu/Turner/Swannigan/Draft Picks

They aren't getting rid of Middleton. We can't get him. Move on.

To be fair, everyone can be had, for the right price. That offer won’t get it done though obviously.
True, but it would take one of our big 3 or a bunch of future unprotected picks. Hypothetically, we could trade for him, but neither team would do it, and neither team would likely get better.

A package highlighted by Collins would probably get it done. Not saying I’d do it though.

We'll disagree. Aminu has been MUCH better and MUCH more under control when dribbling this season. As evidenced by (small sample size) his 6 turnovers in 8 games.

His shot selection has also been much better. It was only 8 games, but showed us how much of a positive impact Chief can have when he plays smart and doesn't try to do too much.

I would rather trade Caleb over Collins. Long term Collins may have more upside. Caleb may have more interest in the league after his start vs Collins. Not sure either puts us over anything anyone else can offer for any deal. Nobody seems to want our scrubs.

Collins was a lottery pick for a reason. Everyone knew he was a project. His value is no different than it was in June. I doubt there’s a team out there that would value Swanigan more. Remember, Swanigan is only 20 as well. It’s about long term with both.

You're trades always have the opposing team giving away too much for too little. Middleton is their full time starter, and a great player. Brogdon is a big piece of their future as well. And you have us giving them two wings who can't shoot, one of which is ball dominant and on a horrible contract to put next to Giannis, which would be a horrible fit.

Hopefully the team can continue to keep him off the weed.

The 3rd year in both cities is where he really regressed. Needs to be traded every 1-2 years I guess.

Journey Mo! Man, at this rate, he's going to have more nicknames than a Daryl Dawkins dunk-fest.
