Most Overrated blazer of all time

Batum was the most overrated Blazer in the history of the organization.
If only simply due to the hype he received from Mike & Mike, the previous forum, and the organization.
Sad thing is, most of these people were right to hype Batum.(well within reason)
But for all the talent he had, he certainly did not live up to the hype.

I won't name names, but there are people who are currently members of s2 who wouldn't have traded Batum for Kawhi.

At least in recent memory...

I don't know if he was overrated in his time here, or even overrated now. But he was overrated coming into Portland due to the fact that he did nothing for the team, and many were expecting him to be a big difference maker.

Talking about Jamal Crawford.

Are people really giving Roy shit for liking Seattle more than Portland? He grew up there, it's always going to be home, just like Oakland will always be Dames home.

What do people want him to do? Actively make public appearances when his career is already over? His split wasn't particularly great. It will probably be another few years before they should do a joint appearance.

Yes.

He'd arguably receive one of the largest and longest ovations from Portland fans, for any former player returning (Sabonis being another).
BRoy has been to a Blazers game...once...he was applauded..not long after he retired..I think it was the next season..

Even if he stayed healthy, I could have seen him pulling a KD/LaMarcus at the end of his big contract. I mean I loved him when he was here, but there was always something a little off with the way he carried himself. Hard to sayhow exactly just a gut feeling.

Sean Kemp was a bit overrated as a Blazer....particularly from Planned Parenthood

The way he carried himself was unspoken every step of the way..ouch, ouch, ouch, fuck, ouch.......for several years...that'll weird anybody out

I meant as a special event, not "oh hey, brandon is here".

I don't think Damon was overrated.... at least not in his final few years.

I remember when we traded for him, I was pumped. Although when the media came to my school to interview people after the trade, I think I was the only person who was pissed that we traded Alvin Williams. I was a huge Damon fan though, and I remember defending his bad play for years...... but what finally broke me and I think was the final straw for a lot of people, was him bitching about playing time right before we started our series against the Spurs. That was it. You simply don't do that. You don't complain about playing time before you start the WCF. Fuck him. He was a diva and he never lived up to the hype.
Someone told me he was the biggest asshole ever in high school.

Here is the most overrated Blazer of all time. I really don't think it's disputable. The hype around this dude was just plain stupid.
