Saw Busty Cops 5 this morning on Cinemax. Not as good of a story as Busty Cops 4 though

Hot Fuzz. Simon Pegg is my new favorite actor.

Have you seen Shaun of the Dead and The World's End? With Hot Fuzz they kind of form a trilogy even though they aren't the same characters. They all star Simon Pegg and Nick Frost and are directed by Edgar Wright. Pretty much all of the movies Simon Pegg is in are funny though.

Kill Me Three Times, Fantastic Fear of Everything, and Hector and the Search For Happiness we all good, too.

A girl like her on netflix.

It's a must watch. About high school bullying. It's emotional, it's really tough to watch, but SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO worth it.

I really liked it too, which surprised me because Michael Bay directed it. Pearl Harbor was hot garbage.
Even more surprising to me was how Strasinski (dude from The Office..spelling???) was in it and actually worked in the part. It was beautifully filmed and sounded amazing as well, that helps. Tonight we watched The Visit by M Shamalamamadingdong and it was sort of predictable and seemed very low budget yet was somehow amazingly entertaining. It didn't hurt that I wanted the kids in it to die the entire time, especially the boy. It wasn't very scary but more hilarious in a Child's Play kind of way.

Yeah Jim was pretty great. And he was reunited with Roy from The Office as well! I enjoyed The Visit too. Just really entertaining.

What did you think?
My wife, who never knew what warcraft even was, was on the edge of her seat the entire time. She thoroughly enjoyed it.

I thought it was surprisingly good(well, better than expected anyway). Think it definitely would be better in the theatre than at home. Acting wasnt great and cgi type stuff was in basically every scene, but i actually enjoyed it. Was an ok movie.

Id probably give it a 6/10

I think I'd give it 7.5/10. I thoroughly enjoyed it all the way through. I thought the Orcs were amazing, but the humans were just meh. The acting wasn't great but I really don't think it was that bad either. A lot of the poor reviews have mentioned bad acting, and I honestly think a small part of it is that they aren't speaking with British accents. People have become accustomed to British accents in fantasy and medieval movies so much that it just seems off when they have more American accents. Anyways, I think the movie probably could have been better if they gave it another 30 minutes. I'm hoping for a director's cut and I also hope it makes enough money to get a sequel.

Watched London has fallen because people complained it was racist. Eh too much action

Yeah I just saw that it's expected to break the record set by Furious 7 for most money made in China from an American movie. It's doing ridiculously poor here though. I really don't understand how only 30% of critics on Rotten Tomatoes think it's a decent movie.

I've heard some big Warcraft fans mentioning that they wanted more.

Watched Birdman this past weekend. What a great flick. The one action shots were really well done.

10 Cloverfield Lane was really good, but the ending was dumb.

You said something similar about Batman v. Superman. Just curious, are there any well reviewed movies where you don't agree with the high rating?

Maybe I am mistaken, but I think I remember you mentioning that you were going through a list of classic films, are there any on there that you don't care for?

I find that I usually agree with critics, but for some of my favorite genres I'll go watch them anyway.

Good question. I think a part of it is that I enjoy a very high percentage of the movies I watch, because if they don't interest me at all I don't watch them. I kinda slowed down on the classics and I can't really think of any that I didn't like. I guess maybe Lawrence of Arabia.. It wasn't bad but it was incredibly boring to me. A well reviewed movie from last year that I didn't like at all was Carol. I didn't enjoy that one on any level.

I guess I also usually agree with critics and maybe it is my love for the genres blinding me, but I legitimately don't think BvS or Warcraft are anywhere near as bad as their RT ratings would suggest. I do admit I came out way too hot for BvS, I was trying to counteract all the negative reviews calling it complete garbage. I think Warcraft is better than BvS.
