Swiss Army Man might be my favorite movie of the year so far. So weird and unique, but also hilarious and heartfelt.
 
Microbe and Gasoline - good

Jason Bourne - decent, meaning you'll like it if you are a fan

Jungle Book - good

Central Intelligence - OK, meaning it's passable if you just have to see a movie, and you've seen everything else you wanted to see already

Ninja Turtles 2 - OK, I had time to kill, and didn't want to go home, I took a nap
 
Jungle Book was good.
Birdman was ok, less than the verbal blowies they were giving it but expected.


FOXCATCHER is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I want to give it away but that would be mean to a friend.

Yeah, just saw a review for it and it is on Netflix. Was just reading about the movie I just saw and most of it is completely fabricated. What actually happened sounds way more interesting.

This movie was a boring waste of time.
 
Was going to watch the documentary tonight but watched Ip man. So damn good.

Edit, seem to think I read about that movie here..thanks whoever you are.
 
Watched the secret life of walter mitty. Wasn't bad, nothing amazing, but an interesting little movie none the less.
 
Popstar - it was alright. Kinda dumb, but some funny scenes. 6/10.

Me before you - good movie. I really like emilia clarke. 8/10.
 
For the Love of Spock was good. It was made by Leonard Nimoy's son and focused a lot on their relationship, which caused the film to drag on a bit. Give me more Spock! Worth watching for Spock/Nimoy fans.

I saw a German film too called The People vs Fritz Bauer which was decent. Dude hunting Nazis.

Just watched a movie called Traded and A Perfect Day. Just came out, thought I'd keep myself busy flying all the way home from London. Lets just say they were both horrible!
 
Saw "A Light Between Two Oceans" yesterday. Knew nothing about it going in. I enjoyed it, but it's definitely a bit of a tear-jerker.
 
The finest hour on Netflix with Chris Pine is a good film about a hero in the Coast Guard...great sea movie about a true life rescue
 
Green Room was good. Pretty much unrelenting tension. But I guess "Don't Breathe" is even more intense. Sad watching Green Room knowing that Anton Yelchin had died in such a stupid way.

On a lighter note, I've got to say that I liked Zootopia a lot more than Inside Out. Which was not what I was expecting.

I hate any movie that makes me actively root for Nazi/Aryans.

It was ridiculous and I wished a meteor would hit the building and kill all of them.

If that movie didn't have two Star Trek guys in it nobody would have ever seen it.

I try not to pick movies apart these days but the band was a collection of morons that gave me no reason to care about them. Surprise violence is cool if you're drunk or I suppose high on something but I hated every second I watched. I wanted EVERYONE on screen to die, that gives me no joy. The same goes for Foxcatcher.

Just saw Jungle Book, the imagery was beautiful it was well done. Though I was somewhat disappointed with King Louie.

Also saw

Money Monster: alright movie, as entertaining as George Clooney's acting can be. Good story. Julia Roberts makes him a better actor.

Hail Caesar: A weird movie about the movie industry

Keanu: Loved it. Funny as shit!

The Bronze: Good movie, even if you don't care for gymnastics or the Olympics, it's cruelly hillarius, though kinda fucking depressing at points.
 
Matt Damon in his newest Jason Bourne adventure. I heard he got paid based on his dialog. With clever business acumen, the producer created non stop action. It deserves a 3.5 star rating. I love the ending!!!

Kinda worried Disney is going to do to Star Wars what I (kind of) feel they have done with marvel - Shove it down our throats until we are sick of it. There is certainly such thing as "too much of a good thing".

I guess if Santee ever gets his Jar Jar movie we will know that day has come. And let's not kid ourselves, disney will keep making the movies as long as they earn money, which scarily makes this scenario a possibility.
