Kinda depends what we'd give up for him. But he
has the chance to be a transformative player, even if not an exciting one. Comparisons with Walker Kessler and (the about to be very rich) Isaiah Hartenstein seem appropriate, and getting a genuine contributor out of a draft like this should probably be regarded as a very solid move.
I seem to recall a large percentage of this board really hating the idea of drafting Chet Holmgren. Clingan is definitely not as mobile or as versatile as Holmgren, but he's also taller and not a walking stick-insect. And he's still very young, despite being a 2-time national champion.
Comparisons to Zach Collins are probably forthcoming: Collins had two main flaws: (1) constantly injured, and (2) drafted instead of Bam Adebayo. But if he'd've stayed healthy he'd've been a very solid player.
